I don't scour the boards every day to be in-the-know as to why prices keep rising. DG set completers now are quite often going for over 7m, C set completers for 12+ (anyone seen a pair of plated leather boots for under 20m in like the past 3 months?)
I do my fair share of buying low and selling high, but for most stuff, the sell high is getting a little rediculous. I'm not even sure why I'm posting as it's gonna be blamed on the usual sources, but seriously, is there any other thing going on right now behind the scenes affecting pricing on Erica?
What's most confusing to me is that I see the same toons selling the same piece of equipment for 4 weeks straight (+7 and higher weaps in Dion come to mind). Are they really selling these (with a supply of many), or are these folks just waiting for the miracle-buy from some idiot?
On a related note, can we get some of the castle owners off their collective butts to shape up the manor system? I would hope if those ran better, the economy would as well.
Prices are getting stupid especially for the D/G grades. My personal opinion is that's because of the many people who are now busy rolling FOTM classes for upcoming C5.
On a side note, paying over 40m for a +7 D grade weapon is stupidity that does not even justify by any measure. If people are actually buying these supremely overpriced weapons, well, I won't comment on that, I guess. :p
As for manor, Heine is working very well right now. Also Dion and Gludio finaly got their act together and is working well imo.
I dunno what's happening but it's really ridiculous. I have several characters that need C grade and I've been carefully watching hoping that I can buy something at reasonable prices. I'm not looking for rock bottom here, just reasonable. I have seen those overenchanted D grade weapons in Dion and wondered who in the world is buying those. For that price I can get a couple of decent C grade weapons.
the economy is gonna remain screwed up on Erica because of Raid Boss Farmers like PeaceCountry and RedGaurds also people keep ebaying and buying adena from places like IGE if you take a look adena on Erica is cheaper than any other server meaning more money on the server meaning higher prices. Try this..do manor systems..actually go out and farm for your stuff rather than buying from farmers...report farmer bott trains daily..continue to report Raid Boss Farmers like PeaceCountry and RedGaurds on a Daily basis. Heine manor has been up and running since we took it over and there are plenty of good leveling spots all over Heine dont understand why more people dont level out there. and the tax is at 3% which means im pumping money into Heine to keep up the manor its costing my clan money to run the manor so if u want a good working manor to keep running i suggest you get more of your freind/clannies out there to support it buy seeds and return em. Biggest suggetion i can make is dont ebay adena and dont buy from farmers..farmer companies will be forced to give up cuz they cant feed their families and will move on to ruin a different game.
Mats are important and I thank your clan for doing what they are with this. Weapon and armor parts are very important as well. I went out to Heine with a couple of my characters and found the seeds in my level range were sold out, so I couldn't use the manor.
Instead of just leaving however, I am sticking around to level there. I will check back on the seeds as I can and I'll buy stuff there (such as SoE, potions, gemstones, etc.).
Again, it will take some time so I hope you can have the patience needed and the support to keep the castle.
