the base taxes in different cities, info from primo guide:
starting towns 15%
Gludin 15%
Floran 15%
Gludio 15%
Dion 15%
Oren 10%
Giran 10%
IT 15%
Huner wilage 30%.
It might of been tweaked, but that's the general idea. Local castle taxes add on top, and Aden taxes add on top of all towns but Rune, Goddarh, Dwarven and Orc wilages.

And which prima guide was that? Did you even bother to look it up before posting? Mine says:
Giran 10%
Starting villages, Oren, IT: 15%
Aden, Dion, Gludio, Gludin: 20%
HV: 30%
Floran: 50%
And as far as i can recall these numbers have been this way since open beta.

Aden taxes aren't added on anything, that's simply BS. Aden gets a part from the taxes collected at the other cities.
It's because you only have base tax and there are no castle lord tax.
So for Giran(with 10% tax) it would be 250*(100%+10% base tax + 10% Castle lord tax) = 250 *120% = 300a
For starter villages it would be 250*(100% + 15% base tax + 0% castle lord tax) = 250 * 115% = 287a

Is this correct?
Yep, although starter villages isn't true anymore. I guess in C2 they changed it that so that Talking Island and the elven villages belong to castles.
