When I started I got that pack with the time card and CD with the 4 th chronical. Now my time has expired and I need to renew it but I want to swich over to credit card instrad of adding another time card. How do I do that?
Go to the Main Page. (http://www.lineage2.com/) Click on My Account at the bottom of the left-side menu.
It takes you to the PlayNC site, where you have to log in using your PlayNC account and password. This is often your game log in and password, but it can be different. Once you log in, it gives you options to pay, one of which is by using a credit card.
A friend's new account just ran out and he's tried to apply a time card... but it tells him that the cd key is already in use (or registered or w/e). Has anyone had this problem and know how to get around it? He can't post here cuz it says he needs an active account to register on the forums.
Sorry to be a pain, but since I'm acting as the go-between, can you let me know if there's something else I should be asking him so that he can get some fast answers? He's been down for a couple of days now and not getting any straight answers from the powers that be. They seemed to miss the point that the cd key has been identified as already being used, and he waited days for that answer at it was.
As I'm the "go-between"... I don't have anything typed in correctly. :)
And yes his time is up.
I was wondering tho... wouldn't the cd key already be showed as being registered since he bought the game and registered it? I'm wondering if perhaps he's entering that part in wrong in the billing process. Does that make sense? I dunno... I've always paid by credit card. Thanks for your answer tho. <3

It would. I really have no clue why it would be doing that. NC won't either, they know nothing :). He might be entering it in wrong, but I think he would have noticed that before he resorted to posting on the boards..
Hey, I didn't get a chance to register the game. It gave me a 14 day trial period and when it was almost over I went to register and that is when I came up with the problem. It's not the time card, it is the registration key that is coming back as already in use. Thanks for the help dug...
And he says he's made sure he's entering in the key correctly. Frustrating. :(
