I'm a mage on this server and have been here since the game has gone retail. I'm a SH, lvl 67 and am posting this in search of help. Some weeks ago I was lucky enough to come upon a lvl 11 soul crystal. I have been saving up and will soon be able to afford a sword of miracles for myself. Of course for this, need a lvl 12 soul crystal in order to obtain the SA. So I am asking for help from any group of people that would be able to take me to a raid of Antharas, Baium, or Anakim in order to lvl my crystal to 12. All I seek is to be a part of the main nuking party in order to obtain my lvl 12 crystal. Any loot that I come upon in the process of doing this I have no problem giving to the group that helps me achieve this. I really don't think anyone will help you. Afterall those crystals are worth 100 million adena so why would any alliance give that up?
I think your best bet would be to contact one of the Farmer Alliances that are becoming more and more prevelent and pay them. They will probably exchange your crystal for the higher level. Have no idea what they would charge.

Pay a farmer alliance for help? You're the scum which is poluting the server then?
I actually have recieved a few offers for help, however I wasn't on in time for those raids. I'm hoping I'll be around for one over the weekend. I'm trying to stay away from farmers because I don't like to support them. I also realize the bigger alliances seldom look out for the little guy (notice their gear as well as castle taxes). I have been contacted by smaller clans and hope that something good may come of this.
Actually I look at myself as a realist. The server is slowly being taken over by farmers. They now have their own Alliance. Legit Clans are joining them. Don't know if its true or not but I've read on several fansites that even the president of NC Soft buys Adena for his gaming needs.
Seems to me that Farmers are tolerated by NC Soft (or at minimun not dealt with) and provide a service, which is now part of the game...Unless of course you only buy items and mats from people you know. If you buy from "hfhsakjd" or people that you don't know then you sir may be supporting the farmers as much as someone that buys a crystal from them.

You didn't play in Prelude and C1 did you? Farmers were very prevelent then and they are now. The only difference then was they were the top Alliance in the game and they were easy to recognize. 95% of the chinese playing were farmers. You know it's funny when I see people like wsj, kok2 and kokb running around still. They were major farmers in Prelude and C1. I feel sorry for the people that bought their accounts. I wouldn't be suprised if they got ganked on a regular basis.
As a matter of fact i did...however I stayed and didn't leave and come back. I think you missed a lot!
Dragon was not nearly the problem that the new farmers and their Alliances are. If you don't believe me nor understand whats going on then i suggest you spend some more time exploring Aden...and trying to comprehend the tolerance of the server.
As far as the Koks go...most of them are still farmers>.>

Dragon was way more of a problem in back then than farmers are now. As it is now farmers block raid bosses. Yep, thats a big problem. Back then Dragon blocked ALL hunting areas. Much more of a problem.
Anyway, farmers have never been the problem, it is the scum who buy from them who are the problem.
You are asking a group of people that are already capable of killing these monsters to do the equivalent of charity work. Instead of leveling your crystal, they can level their own and use it or sell it. Unless someone is feeling charitable, not likely to happen.
A better route would be for you to team up with a less capable group that is on the verge of being able to do these raids with a bit of assistance.
But if all you are after is a SA for your SOM, the practical answer is for you to sell your level 11 crystal and buy a level 12.
* Level 11/12 Soul Crystal: Even without using soul absorption skills, the soul collection is possible, and when killing a boss monster (Antharas, Baium, Anakim, Lilith, etc.) the party whose member delivered the last blow may have entire members upgrade the soul crystal.
So if there is room for the original poster to a party, I dont think there is a problem.
