Confronting Baium - A grade weapon quest

I hope to have my chance to get some of Baium's blood this week. I might try to wait for the farmers to kill him, but sometimes they are a little slow. The farmers have their own schedule, which may not work for me during a work week.

So I might want to wake him, get the blood, and bsoe. One idea is to waken Baium with my mechanical golem, so the golem gets trashed, while I get the blood. I will have to get in close, since I don't have any distance attacks.

Does anyone know if this idea will work? Can a summons be used as a decoy? If so, can I expect to knife Baium, and bsoe with my life?

2. you have to actually click on him like a quest I believe so the golem wouldn't be able to awaken him

Yeah a golem can't wake him. GL with that though, on Kain the farmers kill him soon as he spawns so there's none of that duo partner thing possible.

on gustin the farmers start camping bauim the second he should spawn
the longest i seen them wait was 9 hours

i suggest what you do is wait at the port point and quickly port in the second he spawns
if your farmers are anything like ours the first thing they will do is wake him
if you dont get instantly pkked you can stab him and bsoe

Farmers don't kill baium on Lionna... unless you count the farmer clans that each major alliance has "adopted", LOL. Mostly it's just player vs. player over baium, and he is killed as soon as he spawns. Players actually camp him for hours and some of our biggest pvp battles are fought waiting for him to spawn.

Just accept that you're probably going to die. Maybe you could prepare for it by having a friend come along w/ brez (and hope that they don't die too!) Or you could die and wait for him to go back to sleep/get killed and then have a friend come rez you (if you have lots of time to lay on the ground doing nothing.) If you were in a clan that owned an Aden or Goddard clan hall I'd just take that rez. If not, well you might just have to take the death. And then, if you're lucky, you may not die instantly and actually will be able to BSOE!
