It should be somewhere in your L2 File on your computer, I had the problem with my wife's account before and your story sounds o so familiar with it.

I simply had to correct the resolution setting, since C4 it seems it happens more often.
wooot ty all for the help
problem fixed :D
Go to /program files/lineageII/system... u will find archive options.ini. Open it with padnotes or something, modify the first lines to the res u need.

It is not a folder, it is a file named options.ini. Near the top there is a couple of lines that set the screen resolution. You can set the resolution you want here.

Why would you spend 3 hours reloading L2, when this problem, and the solution, are in the Support: Knowledge Base section of the web site? It only took me 5 minutes to find the solution.

Here is the text:

Some players have seen their screen resolutions change after the Chronicle 4 update, causing the log-in screen to appear much larger than usual. To resolve this problem, please open your Lineage II folder ("C:\Program Files\Lineage II" by default), open the system folder, and double-click the file Option.ini, which may be listed as just Option. You will see two lines labeled-

GamePlayViewportX=XXX
GamePlayViewportY=YYY

Set the values to the desired setting. For example:

GamePlayViewportX=1024
GamePlayViewportY=768

Then close the file and save changes. Be sure to use settings that your monitor and video card support. If you are not sure which values to use, try using 800 for X and 600 for Y. Alternatively, you can delete the Option.ini file and then run the Check File feature before starting the game.
