These are really usefull, but how do we get them ?
I got a few from a class-change quest, but how can i get more ? :p
That's the only way I know of.
What do they do? :)
I have about 50 of them that I haven't used. If I recall correctly you can trade them with Gatekeepers. Right now they are just sitting in my CHW. I may use them one day. Or not.

You can trade them for town specific soe's. Like the one you probably got from a lvl 3 quest.
It takes 8 diamonds for one town specific SOE, so those folks selling them for 100k a piece (only ones I've seen so far) may want to rethink the cost ;) I don't think it costs over 100k to port from TI to Rune.

I'm sure people will pay that much. Kinda like the ones that buy L2 Wind Walk scrolls for far above what 3 WW2 pots cost.
people pay that much because during sieges they want to get to the town IMMEDIATELY and you cant put a price on a close siege, 800k per scroll is pennies compared to the taxes/manor for a castle....

They are waisting thier money if they do that. You can't soe to a town under siege. I had a Giran SOE from my newb I used it during siege and it sent me back to hunters village. Waiste of adena to me.

Huh? Why not have a stash of WW2 pots?
no idea
Well i'm pretty sure we can get them some other way, besides the quest i found myself with about 5 or 6 in my inventory one day but i dont have a single clue how they got there :p
And what is "WW2" ? Does it do the same thing, take you directly to a specific town ?
It's my understanding that you get them from rift partys, too bad cause the rift hasn't cought on yet.

And I've yet to get one ever. But I hear you can get them from it.
I have done the rift several times and have never gotten any. Don't think the mobs drop them, if you get them from the chests it's super low chance. Better to keep the keys and use them on chests in the fields.

As far as I know only class change quests is the only place to get them.
The title of this post cuaght my eye becuase the other day while out hunting I found like a pile of 30 something of these on the ground . . .

I really had no clue. . .
You get them as quest items from a quest you get from the statue guy in the Cata's/Necros. They are automatically collected at a seemingly moderate probablity rate from the Seal Stone dropping mobs.

Honestly, how could no one else have known this =/
That would be fragments from the cata quest, not the diamonds.....

honestly, how could you have not known this..... =/

I always thought sieges was the whole point with these Soe's.
You can get them from a quest in Swamp of Screams (there you can buy stuff with collected quest items, and one of the things you can buy is dimension stones). But the exchange rate is kind of horrible, you would probably have to farm the mobs for several hours to get even one town soe. Port west entrance to swamp of screams, one of the NPCs there gives the quest.
you can also get dimension diamonds through the "Supplier of Reagents" quest - talk to Wesley in the basement of Ivory tower for this quest. I think it around lvl 57-58 to start it.
Yes, Mixing Quest and Swamp of Screams besides Classchange Quests, i can confirm that. But u wont be happy with it, its kind of farmers only since the exange is really bad (mixing quest was 1 blood root and 10 of i dont remember, too bad the blood root is kind of rare, u can get get like 5k demons blood the same time u would get 1 blood root...)

Take the ones from the classchange, be happy with em and then forget about em, yet another annoying missimplemented c4 feature.

He he... :p
But these are quite usefull, you dont have to go from town to town and spend insane amounts of adena in teleportation !

And what is "WW2" ?

Wind Walk 2
Yeah but with all three class change quests, on my DE's I got enough diamonds for 3 town specific SOE's. Considering you port (or walk if you're cheap) across the entire map well over 20 times you'd think you would get a few more.
WW2 is the skill. Wind Walk 2, if your not a Prophet or anyother healer class that gets this skill, then most people buy WW2 pots for running faster to get to places.
