Hello.I have a clad and want to buy a tattoo for him. Due high prices of tattoos i want to ask how my stats gona change after i put it on.
Lets say now i have P.attak 300 and HP 2000, if i put a tattoo
+1 STR/-1 CON, how these stats will be change?
Is there a formula to calculate that?
I mean if +1 STR gives only +1 to P.attac (301) and -1 CON make lost 100 HP (1900) i think it doesnt worth to pay all these money for that....
Please any info is very usefull to me. Thnks guys
Im still new to the game myself and havnt reached tats yet, so I havnt learned any formula yet. However, if I wanted to try and figure it out, here is what I would do.

I know that different races have different stats, like str.
A brand new DE and brand new Elf with no other mod's have different streangth. Note the difference ( say 37 and 40 ). Now look at the 2 p. atk. the larger should belong to the person with the most str. Subtract the smaller of the numbers from the larger, take that number and divide it by the difference in str ( in this case 40 - 37 = 3. if the 2 p . atk's where 3400 and 3700, 3700 belongs to the guy with 40 str, subract 3400 from 3700 and you get 300, divided by 3 = 100 . . . ) and you know each point of strength ( IN THIS EXAMPLE ) would equal 100 p. atk.

Unless each stats effects each race differentlly. In this case I wouldnt know how, and it would effect the outcome.

Hope this helps.
ty for your help. That is a logical way to have an idea of dyes results...but i think that there is no use :(. I mean if +1 STR gives +100 p. attack ...is incredible amount of total p.attack output. Havent seen so far that kind of results...:)
The numbers I made up in the example above. Im the last guy you want doing your math for you most times, but Im pretty good at logic. So I basiclly told you how to figure it out. Those numbers arent real, I actually have no idea how much p atk you get from 1 str sorry like I said still kinda new.

Only other perspective I can offer as a new player is while your wondering what the EXACT bonus you will get from the tats is, . . well I mean, the higher levels use them right? The game put them in I suppose for a reason so umm, they gotta be worth it somehow I assume.

Hope this helps.
If your str is less than 40, +1 str will add about 3%. over 40 will add 4% So starting with 300 p atk you would end up with 309 or 312. I used a +4str -4 con on my dwarf who started with 339 p atk, 39 str, 45 con, 2105 hp. After the tat i ended with 380 p atk and 1888 hp.

It made a huge difference for me, i was able to kill spamming ss but never needing heal pots. It took considerably less hits for me to kill things as well and ended up saving me huge money. Im thinking of putting a +4 dex -4 Con on him next. :)
i have the problem that im thinking it my dye doesnt work.
My sws use a sls +0 and with lv 2 buff he has a patk of 325 with +4 str. before the dye he had 36 str. I cant remember how many patk i had before but i think it was the same... how can i calculate it if the patk is right?
I found a C1 guide in PDF format (i cant upload it) and saw these formulas:
1 - P.Atk=(your weapon´s P.atk)x(your lvl bonus)x(your STR bonus)
2- MaxHP=(your current base HP)x(your CON bonus)
Note that: Character stats are influenced by your base stats, your level and your equipment. Also passice and active skills can affect on character stats.
So here we are:
level modifier: is percentage = (your lvl - 11), example: lvl 30 character has level modifier +19% (30-11= 19), while a lvl 1 character has a modifier of -10% (1-11 = 10).
Base stats STR, CON :
Each base stat has modifiers. Modifiers are used to determine the effects that base stats have on character stats.
Now i list below modifiers by class fos STR and CON
STR (influences P.Atk)
Modifiers: Human Fighter +19%, Human Mystic -10%, Elf Fighter +13%, Elf Mystic -11%, DE Fighter +22%, DE Mystic -8%, Orc Fighter +20%, Orc Mystic -2%, Dwarf +18%.
CON (Influences HP, Carrying Capacity, HP regeneration, skills like shield stun)
Modifiers:HF +58%, HM +24%, EF +42%, EM +20%, DEF +34%, DEM +19%, OF +67%, OM +32%, Dwarf +62%.

I tried make calculations with this data but i didnt have much luck...i still can answer how much P.atk gonna earn if STR goes +1 and how much HP gonna lose is CON goes -1. I am lvl 44 Gladiator, hope u guys have more luck than me..
if anyone asks, i didnt have anything to do with this:
possible forulae for C4 (http://l2p.bravehost.com/about.html)

also note, this is not accurate entirely. two races can have the exact same stat and one will have a ever-so-slightly higher modifier. best example is orc and human, both have 40 STR but i think orcs modifier is some insignificant amount higher, i call it "the green factor".
best way to test dyes in game is to borrow armor sets from people you know. try doom and blue wolf, see how the +/-es effect you, and go test them out a bit to see what the difference is in an acutal fight. also dont specify yourself in two different directions, if you want attack speed/crit, sacrifice everything to get it as high as possible. if you want high hp, same with con. high str, ditto.
PS: a lot has changed since C1.
L2 Stat Modifier Database (http://usuarios.lycos.es/elmundol2/stats_e.txt)

This should have all the information you need. As the site says the table isn't 100% accurate however.

From my own experience from using dye as a DE, the stats for Str and Dex are a few tenths of a percent off. The Con numbers came out exactly though.

The site also doesn't mention hp changes from Con, though if I remember right it's something like a 3% difference per point for DEs, I really have no idea if its similar for other races.
ty guys that was really great help to me :)
all that stuff make us to Love this game!!! Right :D
