Generally in the past I would have disagreed with you but I agree that the prices on some of the crafts out there are beyond idiotic. Its truly ridiculous that someone has to fork out 100+m for an A grade helmet. I mean isn't the **** grind hard enough for players as it is? Why make it a punishment for players when they reached the apex of the levels only to run around in rags?
I mean it should still be hard to get higher end items but someone, somewhere needs to put a stop to A grade helms selling at over 150million. If you dont belong to one of the top clans on the server who can do raid bosses regularly, it is going to be almost nearly impossible for players to earn that kind of in game money. People WANT to keep playing the game but when you force people into a corner like this, they will either quit or support farmers who sell Adena by buying them. I think the grind wouldn't be so bad if the economy wasn't so **** harsh.
And before you criticize me about me not being able to make money, I am very successful in playing the market without being in a big clan. But I can understand also the point of players who dont do as well playing the market, but would rather play the game. There needs to be some kind of stop or brake to the economy to control it, like the real markets of the world have "breaks" when there is inflation up the wazoo.
When you have inflation in the game being fed by real world economy, its time to re-evaluate the economic system and find a way to stabalize it.

I expect NCSoft's staff is busy trying to get the next chronicle ready for the PTS. Anecdotally, most of the major clans I deal with on Lionna have seen large drops in their usual online numbers. Summer vacation, boredom with the game, other games coming out, and the heavy handed gm's are all reasons I've heard behind these problems.

Wow thats expencive!. It's bad every where though. AG prices are not going down and people won't spend recources on lower grades. BG is way over priced now. There is still a demand for it. But the lack of mats from AG make all most every thing impossable to make.
NCsoft needs to do some thing to help the player market. Right now it only servers ebayers and farmers.

If I was on Erica I'd have my Bounty Hunter scavenging Brig Helm parts like crazy. They really aren't that difficult to find, I managed to get enough parts for a few helms from normal leveling on my PR.
As for Kain, our prices are still pretty normal. Though basic materials do seem to be rising at a steady rate.

Don't make a fuzz of 1 guy selling at that prize :) ok i know the market is totaly srewed but them prize for a brig helmet is proly just 1 guy selling at that prize not realy a marker to go on.
Actually, it's not just one person selling at that price. Take a look around at the general prices on Erica and you will see that they are totally whacked.
The D grade stuff is going for multi millions..far and above what it should. Though I will confirm that some of the A grade stuff is lower than other servers.
Top D duals on kain sell regularly for 2.5m which it costs 2 to make, manti boots 1.8, Basically you are better off buying a top d weapon putting 7 enchants on it and selling it for 15m. I was out spoiling lastnight and the spoil rate sucks bad, and the drop rates are just as bad if not worse. NCsoft needs to do something to address this F'd up market, forget an event! make the rates better. Eventually people are just not going to put it up with it and stop paying....Sure there will be "those" ones maybe even including me. I personally don't care about the economy, my guys are good to go.

Sorry - but for a game with over 1 Mil gamer i think they have a staff for all sections of the game - for example - im in catas and the are this [CENSORED] - and taken most of the rooms with their trains.
I write a petition to NC-Soft - give them the loc-dates, names and so on: After a few minutes comes the answer with (Pls Give more namens) - wth - cant they go by the loc-datas to see for a sec what happens there - NO - after a few more requests to kick the [Censored] from the rooms - you can give up - only automatic createt answers come... :(
Not that what you want from a service - i know they can not be everywhere on everytime - but for exact informations you wishes some more actitivty from them
Brig helmet should never EVER go above 1 mil adena.
Brig boots/gloves should never go above 500k EVER.
Most of all D grade stuff in terms of armor shouldn't ever be selling for more then 500k adena for each peice.. the helmets perhaps yes.. if they make an SA work and are hard to get/make.
Seigh currently has brig helmets selling for anywhere from 3mil (cheapest) to as high as 6mil (most expensive) completely unenchanted.
So, I'm trying to sell my +8 Brig Helmet for roughly 20 mil.. but no biters :p ;)
Stupid.... a +8 brig helmet shouldn't go for more then 5 maybe 6-7 mil TOPS under normal market terms.
whats funny is the lower lvl raid bosses drop 4-9 brig helms
some drops 4-16 mith gloves can make so much money with just a small amt of ppl if you lucky ^^
Korea has over a million players. NA (well, really its global I guess) has 60-70k. City of Heroes is twice that size. WoW is 100 times that size. That's the comparison. Its not like the Korean GM's are active on the NA servers or something.
