With all the mystic classes running around my server, as a BH I feel helpless against it. My most effective PvP tool is BSOE and I hate that. As a melee class, I want to fight. So I'm thinking of altering mental characteristics to give me a little edge. If I nerf Int in order to max Wit I expect I'll see a decrease in the effectiveness of root, sleep & DOT spells cast on me... but will I be decreasing the success rate of Spoil?
I increased Str and nerfed Dex but I don't think I'm too happy with that... although I hit harder the decreased run speed won't allow me to catch a Mystic casting on me... I have a bow which helps but the decreased Dex means less range & accuracy... I'm in PvP hell.
So I'm thinking of getting rid of my old tats & just completely nerfing Int to increase Wit... but not if it messes with spoil... I like that one too much to mess with.

I'm afraid to decrease Dex any more... with the decreased accuracy I might end up smacking myself in the head :D
it seems strictly based on a formula relating to level range and amount of hp the mob has (2x4x etc)...also, it may be me but i think he spoils faster when my attack speed is faster.
You can go ahead and get a +4wit-4int tat to increase your resistance. However, in C5 the resistance stat is being switched to men (which you can't increase). So be prepaired to remove it once C5 comes out :cool:
