I play Sorc with my SE in the box. As soon as I start to flag the SE starts to flag on me?? Why?? And more important how to stop this!!!
Its not all the time but sometimes it does... :o

No no no.
No buffing. SE is following me Not buffing, recharging what ever... Notthing just follow. Then out of the blue when I flag someone (turn purple not red) the SE starts to attack me
Actually I know what youre talking about, I get it too.. When one char is on auto-follow, and the one leading flags, the following char hits the leading char.. And some not nice oops situations can come from that, if you're dualboxing a lvl 50 SE with duals to buff a lvl 5 alt.. Don't ask me how I know that..
Theres nothing you can do about it. Its because of how the auto-follow system works. You double click on the person you want to follow. Now If you double click a purple, what happens? You attack. The only thing you could do would be leave them in party but that obviously doesnt work for powerleveling.

Simple, when you set AF you double click/double attack, on a white target this sets AF. However on a flagged target it means attack... thus when you flag whoever is on AF will attack you.
Exceptions are people in party, in peace zones and those in the same clan/ally. So there lies your solution, party your SE or join her to the same clan/ally (this is why a lot of allies have alt clans... mainly for the boxes out there).
tyvm. I use to have them in the same clan thats why it never happend before. Recently I redrawed the SE from the clan.
At least now I know why and will party up before I start flagging. Thx.

Two /targets will make your SE attack if your SH flags, if you aren't in the same party. As your SH/SE are the same level, I'm betting they party. It's not that you have a solution there, you simply never had the problem to begin with :)
This game doesn't really have an auto-follow in the first place, but we use a "run up to attack but don't attack" to fill the spot. Sometimes, the "don't attack" gets circumvented.

I did this to someone at a siege in my Skynet days. Didn't even scratch him... :(
Yeah they always party, but it doesn't constantly run anyway, target target and it generally "holds" in the same hunting area for hours. It's too bad auto follow breaks so **** easily.
I had a chrono fight with my dual boxed SE....he won. =/
And I thought I sucked at PvP... :p
I DO suck at PVP. Been trying to tell that to friends of mine ingame for two years!
And as it was said above, if the SE is out of party with the /target twice macro and youflag on someone, it will flag on you. Quite funny the first time it happened. I thought my laptop was haunted!

I have heard of this. I suspect your autofollow macro is 2 lines like this:
I have heard of this. I suspect your autofollow macro is 2 lines like this:
/attack xxx
/attack xxx
Instead, try using:
/target xxx
/target xxx
I think this might help.
Not only will that not help, but they're not even sensible commands. /attack doesn't accept arguments. All that /attack xxx, /attack xxx would do is the same as /attack--hit your current target, if it's a valid target.
Please read the thread. /target x is basically the same as clicking on x, which means if you do it twice and x is flagged, you hit him. :p
