Cool ty, i was looken through that site cause i was tryen to do this quest Merciless Punishment (http://lineage2.stratics.com/content/library/quests/quest.php?id=107) < i found them but they own my face every time i try to kill them. Is there a specific way to do it or do i just need to be a higher level? ( Im currently lvl 12) Probally a slly question, stil gettin used to L2 its a awsome game tho :D
If you're getting killed then leveling up is probably the only thing you can do. When you're starting out taking quests immediately at the level you can start them can be a bad idea, unless they're just hunt x type of mob in x area.
Getting new equipment is also just as important as leveling in L2, it's pretty normal if you're having trouble buying decent gear if you're just starting out though.
I don't have a high enough character on that server to give you a personal how too BUT...
You should have some soul shots you got for doing some quests?
Go and buy yourself 1 scroll of escape and 5 health pots, then if you haven't done so already. Drag the soulshots and health pots to your hotbar thats on the right.
Get yourself buffed up with the newbie guide then head out to where the messenger is.
Once you get there....
Right click on the soulshot icon in your hotbar to set your shots to auto load. Stand next to the messenger....
You should have an attack skill called iron punch. Attack the messenger with iron punch hitting him with your autoload soulshots. All the messenger guards will start to attack you, but don't concern yourself with them...Keep on attacking the messenger. Keep an eye on your HP bar at this time your have to click on one of those HP pots you put on your hotbar. Keep your HP up.....
Once you kill the messenger you will get a letter and this is an important step in the quest. Take your Orcishs butt and haul it to the bridge cross the bridge....
There is no way to kill them all in your weakened state you need to lose them, AND watch out for the bears and wolfs so you don't draw any aggro from them.
Once you have done this and got the letter and away from the messenger guards use the scroll of escape to go back to town.
NOW....... Here's the thing. You need to do this quest two more times to gain two more letters.
I'm starting to love all you people on the forums here. :) I can't imagine this game without all the help and the welcome you've all provided. Thank you for helping a former eq2'er integrate! Well... i'm getting there I guess. hehe :D
