So, the other day, I was in Martyrs with my ally Poleparty. I go take my dog for a walk, come back, servers down. When I eventually get back on, I see my party, all sitting. THEN I realize that both our rooms were taken by people not using SS *wink wink*
I like to call these people: "People Without Pulses" or, "PWP".
So, seeing as how I'm a 5x BD, I can't efficiently train anything in martrs, so I was wondering... What could? Please help me fill in the blanks below!

I was thinking PW, seeing as how FD one of the best trainning skills (if not the bishop skill). Plus, they are supposedly getting that MM passive skill in C5.
If there are any other skills/classes that are better, let me know. I'd rather not make a spoiler, my manoring WS gets pked 3 times every time I play him lol ;)
A fully-buffed BH on a strider makes the perfect trainer. With lots of HP plus the speed of the strider, he can pull A LOT of mobs before being in danger of dying, and then Fake Death to dump them all on the Beings with Omitted Thought parties.
Most of the time I've been trained in the name of training those you speak of...it's been by Treasure Hunters.
Just the other day I was killed by someone who later (when confronted) felt very bad about it. Apparently he didn't think any legit players still went to the Necros or Cats.

training is not leveling others...
training = attacking/hating/aggroeing a lot of mobs onto yourself and running with them chasing you. You then run to other characters (automated or not) that are killing monsters, and after a while or with some skills (fake death, confusion, etc.) the monsters that were chasing you will attack the other character that was killing one or a few monsters. Being overwhelmed, they either run if they can, or usually die... By doing "trains" not only do you not go red when someone else dies, but they also have a good chance of dropping items.
It is accepted in game, and a lot of people do it. Some think it's a easy way to make money off others, but now the catacombs are pretty much clean of bots as far as where i've been. It used to be packed but for various reasons, most are gone (bans, force log, moved on to farming raid bosses's, etc.). That doesn't mean you don't have those who dont give a **** about others and "train" them anyway for "fun" or in hopes they drop their items when they die...
Would I PW work? They have nice skills whilst running and a whole lotta dex for quickness/ dodging. This is onl for the use of getting rooms or areas from the PWP ^^
i think the best ive seen was an SWS, ww + passive run speed + songs they are very fast. my old aoe days in cruma before it was deserted, we used to get sws's train entire floors on us in only a couple min.
It's not just about being fast, though. You need to be able to get the mobs to switch targets. That means either running around the targetted group until they pick up agro (sometimes takes a while), doing a fake death to lose agro from yourself, or switch target. An SWS is great for pulling mobs to do AOE with, but I'm not sure about using them for training other people. If the targetted players forcelog, you'll be stuck with a bunch of mobs and no way to get rid of them, other than running around until they stop following.
My AW works nicely for training. Can run fast. dodge hits. and if it comes down to it. I have confusion also. works good for me. im low level so only used it around AC areas. cleaning up the place a bit. :cool:
Guys, Mistryl already knows what a bot is, the ballet around the word is just plain ridiculous
I'm pretty sure theres a flag on the forum somewhere when you say "bot" in any thread to get the attention of moderators :p. But then again by now there's probably a flag for all the other names too... Gotta think of new ones each time to stay ahead ;).

i'm with superman here...i know a couple of BH that do this, and they do it well...run around the whole cata, get what argos, then run back to the room, fake death...BAM! dead players. they can take a millon hits and still have lots of hp to take some more
hehe I'm actually using my Prophet.... my BATTLE Prophet :)
Fully buffed and equipped with BW heavy I can train a lot of PWP groups :)
Also if it gets to hot then I usually first start using battle heal with BSpS, then if I drop below 1/2-1/3 HP I use Word of Fear (this is actually the only time I use this skill) and last when the [censored] hits the fan :) ..... I use Blessed Scroll of Escape.... but in the form of the build in skill Return 2 :)
The only problem, is that I have a 42 WS, and dwarves aren't fun to level imo ^^
Now, I'm going to choose to try a PW because of superior Dex, FD, and so many nice running skills. Esprit, great evasion and what-not. Also, say I pull too many, but I still got another room until I get to the PWP group, Silent run ftw!
Now, do PW run -8 con, +4 dex, +4 Str? Doom Light? (Bgrade is where you actually have to choose lol.
WS is still a good trainer
get boom to run around argroing mobs and then unsummon next to "the ppl with no voices"
you can train a whole catacomb but if you keep dumping agro on someone eventually you'll take them down
