question about PVP in L2

evening all. well i have been playing L2 for about 2 months now, and the only pvp that i've been involved is getting myself PK'd. anyhow i wanted to know a few things about basic pvping.

now is it true that if i pvp at the monster derby track or any arena and if i get killed, i will not drop anything. also what is the penalty for dieing in pvp, do you lose xp?

any help or additional info will be greatly appreciated.

pvp in any arena has no loss whatsoever.

and what class are you going, bd or sk, will help me with your pvp problem.

The only time you'll drop anything during PvP is if you're red and have over 5 pks on your record. The normal penalty for a PvP death is exp loss, however in the arena you will not lose exp or drop equipment.

During sieges the exp loss from death is also a greatly reduced rate, and I believe you can't drop anything, but don't quote me on that.
