Spoil festival

ok im about to get the skill spoil festival. im not quite sure how to use it effectively. probably wouldnt want to pole im assuming. and while i got mobs all over me blast the spoil festival. I think i understand that far. the part im not getting. when im killing the mobs do i just sweep each one as it dies and then move on to next target? lol seems like some pretty tough multi tasking for someone that is not used to it. but want to make sure im thinking the right way on this :)

Yeah thats defieatly(**** THIS WORD) one way. You could pole with multiple dwarves and all sweep 2-3 mobs, thats def...(im not even gonna try) one way to do it. The whole purpose of using spoil festival is to save mp. Group up enough mobs so that it would be more effective to spoil festival over just spoiling them one at a time and start killing. E.g. at lvl 28 3 mobs would save you 3 mp but its worth it when your a fighter class. Thats in terms of soloing. When say your doing a rift or your party is getting mobbed, as long as there is more then two mobs about spoil festival away. Just make sure to sweep em all :)

seems like the timing part is going to mess with me at first. trying to sweep he mobs before they dissapear might be tough. might need some practice rounds :)

When your on your scavy be sure to have the mob names on >< otherwise its a pain in the a** guessing where the names are

poling and sweeping is tough...we've been crying for mass sweep for over 2 years now, and still havent gotten it.

the issue is, that doing it you'd end up with argo most of the time. and manageing sweeping all the mobs, is very very hard...you mite want to try sweeping only the ones that you know will give the best spoil.

Try doing it with an other dwarf. bouth arti and scavy classes get sweep lvl 1 skill at lvl 14.

It does take practice. You can target dead mobs by holding Shift and moving cursor over mob til you get the grey balls and left clicking.

Spoil festival saves time. When casting spoil, you miss an attack round. If you festival 3 mobs, you 'save' two attack rounds, by not having to manually spoil the other two mobs.

Spoil festival also acts like a mini-hate aura. If you are in a group and the tank pulls a lot of mobs, every one not hit by the tank, but that is 'activated' by your festival, will aggro on you. This is actually good, since you have a lot of HP, and it divides the mobs damage so it doesn't all drop on the tank.
