Sin Eater

Hi !
I've now make my Redemption Manacles (or whatever it is called), and the Black Judge told me that i now need to summon a Sin Eater and level it up one level for my PK count to be gone.
But at some point, it says that if you summon a Sin Eater, it "consumes all the experience of the summoner".
What does it mean exactly ? That i'm gonna lose one level ? :eek:

It means that while you have the sin eater out summoned, you gain 0xp and 0sp per kill, as it all goes to the sin eater. You need to farm enough experience to level the sin eater to the next level, then take it back to the judge, after which you lose 1-10 PKs.

Just consider it free adena.

And do you know how long it takes to level up the Sin Eater ?

Not very long at all. Though the higher level you are the longer it takes, but it's never comparable to a level of your toon.

Also remenber to buy some wolf food for the imp, so it doesnt starve to death while it is showering you with comments on how slow you kill mobs :D

It's a good idea to not level it on mobs that have aoe attacks! Or if there's a place you can keep it safe, and still have it in xp range, it's np.

you can leave the sin eater in gludin, lvl in aden and it will still take your xp

ok ok....this is from an experienced sineater user...;-)

your SE will never ever take long to level

DO NOT do what most ppl do and that is get your SE at ....lvl 38 and then never work off your PK counts... (any level..just using 38 as an example)

Here is what will happen...if you are ABOVE the level of your SE then when go to turn him into the judge...you will only get ONE COUNT taken off and not 1 to 10 OPTION.

So here what you do to fix the problem. level your SE and turn him in....do not continue with your SE but ask for the manacles back.

THEN redo the quest portion of the SE and VOILA! you have a SE that is your level. THEN go level him up...wont take u long...turn him in and you get the option from 1 to 10 PK counts off.

THIS IS how I always do my sineaters...level him and then get the manacles back into your bag. NEVER EVER level yourself with an active SE sitting in your bag waiting to be levelled. Its a waste of your time if you do this.

The manacles btw can be traded and/or SOLD to anyone!!! Which means if you have the manacles and you are lvl 38 but your friend who is lvl 52 wants to use him...give them to him ...he does the quest and VOILA! he has a SE at lvl 52...

He finishes levelling the SE ...turns it in...gets his counts taking away...gets the manacles back...he gives it back to you and you can do the quest to get a SE your level. :)

yeah the 1 pk removal thing kinda sucks
i went from 44-70 without an extra pk point only to find out when i hand in my quickly lvled sin eater it would only remove 1 pk

also for those of you who didnt know about the sin eater range it also works for the other pets (not includeing dragons and wolves who need to hit a mob for xp)
