Bloody fabric

anyone know what floor Platinum Tribe Shamans and Overlords are on?
I believe that would be 7.
7th floor

(It can take 2-3h to get the red fabric.)
7. I heard you need to get aggro to bloody the cloth, I don't know how true that is. The first time in 40 mins I didn't get it, the second time I pulled the shamans and overlords with windstrike then slept them, took about 30 mins but that could be pure luck. There is NO message when it turns bloody, just have to keep checking inventory.
You don't need to have aggro. IIRC everyone in party that needs to get the fabric blooded will get it at the same time. But it's possible that one of the people with the quest needs to have aggro? I don't know.
You get a message when it turns red, but in contrary to other quests you do not get the item on deth of the mob but during combat with the mob
I did it recently and I had my quest inventory up when it turned red. There was no message that I saw at all that said anything about the fabric.
you dont get the iten on death but per hit as someone said

the best option to get it is to have a full party with the quest and get someone to para the mob
after that just spend the next hour or so whacking it with a chrono

Hmm, that's an interesting idea about the chrono thing. Problem is, if you are ready to take on the Baium, you are probably heavily in war and can't really do that. But the idea still is good.
Chrono thing works we just did it.....we must of look pretty dump smacking an plantium overlord for an hour with chrono

but what ever it works
Just did it again and got the message. And yeah the chrono thing worked great :) Took like 10 mins after 2 hours trying to kill them.

Hm I remember getting the "ding****" sound when I got the blooded fabric.

You definitely do not have to hit the mob or even get aggro, you just have to be in the party which is hitting the mob. I got my first blooded fabric as healer in the party, I never even hit the mobs.

We tried the "para a mob and hit with chrono" - it works, but it still takes an awfully long time. Like 1.5 - 2 buff rounds - still faster than just going in and hunting normally, though. But while hunting you get exp, so I personally would prefer normal hunting. So it seems you do not have to kill the mob, just hitting the mob seems to be enough. Since so far when several people in the party needed the first blooded fabric they all got it at around the same time (one gets it, then immediately afterwards the next player gets it and so on), there seems to be a "minimum" number of hits you have to do.

Don't you love it? I think it's close to 1K smacks or at least it felt like that.
Definitely a bad quest, we killed enough shamans and overlords to soak the entire town of Aden in their blood.
88 hours , still not a single response from technical support

let me quote something : "Your question has been received. You should expect a response from us within 24 hours.
