I was just wondering if anyone knows what mob drops or spoils heathens book recipe. I have a ton of pages in my warehouse and have finally decided out of spite to craft em. I had the recipe a while ago but took it out of my recipes for better ones. Now i just wanna craft it, because its starting to nag me a bit.
I dont really need it for any of my players, the mats i have to make atleast 3 of them. I just wanna get it out since i have tried to sell em for about 3 months and still cant seem to sell em. One day i was selling em for 10k each and could not so its a mission now.
oooo ill buy them :) i had one once from a full drop, but crushed it because it was a "pathetically tiny weapon" and couldnt find anyone to sell it to. it is one of 3 very rare non-mammon weapons tho, and that makes it a collectors item.
for the recipie, try cave servant warrior, level 48 in dragon valley. may want to take another person with you, as they stun with a really high probability. best place to find them is to enter from death pass, dont go right or left, just straight until the path curves around a corner. only one other aggro mob in the area.

there are several special weapons that cannot be traded with mammon. these are: heathens book, horn of glory, demon fangs, crusifix of blood, blood of saints, tome of blood, divine tome, travellers spellbook, scroll of wisdom, branch of life, temptation of abyss, and proof of revenge. the first three are the major ones, since they are top C, mid C, and top D, respectively.
I knew about demon fangs.. I just figured this one was trade-able, since it had the same crystal count as a homu. Ah well, sorry for giving you false hope :p
i am 96% sure the crytal counts used to be different than the "normal weapons" in C3, but maybe in C4 they changed it so you could mammon them. really the only way to figure it out will be to craft one and have the OP dimiss all doubt.
No, the items which you can't trade wia mamon are the items which got their crystal count off, such a demon fangs and paagrio axe, and probably also the wearpons which are removed from shops and drop tables..

Just for correctness, Demon fangs aren't top D. They're the best you can buy from a store, but the Staff of Life is actually Top-D. :)
staff of life is not really top D. there are 3 other D grade blunts that have the same m att and a higher p att (although you are right, since it has the same crystal count as these weapons). also, ive never seen a demon fangs in any shop, in any town. though, they seem to have changed some things about how the misc items work, so maybe they are in shops now >.<

Ok, clarification. First of all Demon Fangs are for sale in Giran. Staff of life has the best M.Atk of any D Grade weapon, making it the best D-Grade 1 handed staff. It's really not worth wasting money on Fangs, since even at +3, they're barely any higher than a +0 Staff of Life.

That is to say the Giran weapon shop. They go for about 1.7 mil. I know this because I have a set that I got for my First character when I was low on cash. They're +3 now, and still pretty crappy.

Many people get Demon Fangs just to overenchant the crap out of them. They're cheap and easy to get ahold of.
