A/g armor comparison

Something that's always puzzled me in A grade bonus sets. Hoping maybe someone has an asnwer for this.

Considering the following on an Archer, Silver Ranger as a fact:

Maj Light:
Archery P.Atk +8%
---------------------

is the 8% of Majestic light = DC Light in terms of dps?
Besides the +weight and stunn resist that Maj offers, is there any real reason justyfying the upgrade from Majestic Light?

Right, however, my biggest concern as an SR is Patk since I do crap damage as compared to other archers.

DPS for majestic is a bit lower. First of all, you get str bonus. It adds another 2-3% to your PAtk. Second, attack speed multiplies to PAtk, so increase in both will add some fraction to DPS above initial per cents.

But generally people chose majestic for stun resistance. It's more important to most archers than flat increase in PAtk.

DPS when it comes in bursts is not so important unless you fight against infinite HP targets (e.g Raidbosses). Maj is genereally a better set. If you have +str PL usually offers the best DPS.
