I noticed that when I reach the level on my Sorcerer that I will need 2 seed of fire to initiate a certain spell.
Is this like FOCUS FORCE that the Gladiators and Tyrants have? Will I have to use the FIRE debuff like they use their focus skill?
Also, What about the ELEMENTAL spell at 70 that needs WATER AND FIRE or is it WIND? nOT sure but it looks like I have to work with Elven Elder and another spellcaster with the WIND skill JUST to get my spell OFF.????what the heck is this? Another useless spell? Why would anyone want to take the time to help you with a spell...
this has got to be one EXTREMELY good spell for others to get involved. or is it? My feelings without ever seeing the results would be most likely is useless effort.
Hope you prove me wrong on this one NCSoft because I do like what I see so far in the way of spells.
For seed of fire you will have to target yourself, and it will charge you up. You can charge up other people also, leading to powerful attacks.
And yes, these are powerful, look at the powers on the skills. For those skills they are over 250. Look at your normal nuke. What is it, about 100? What i think this skill is for is dealing big damage to one target in seiges quick :)
If you want to use these nukes, other players have to charge you with seeds. I do not think you can charge yourself and you would need two seeds anyway, so it would not be possible anyway to charge yourself with two seeds because of the recharge time of the skill.
About the efficiency of the nukes - yes, they do big damage, but a simple comparison of
a.) the damage of the seed nukes
b.) the damage of one single standard nuke and
c.) the mp cost for the seeds, the seed nukes and a standard nuke
shows that if each of the three nukers would just use the 250mp to cast three standard nukes each, the total damage would be far higher.
I do not see any real use for these seed nukes except either fun or maybe the secondary effect, like the hp regen stopping effect of the demon wind nuke (if you fire it on a raid boss, don't know if it still works on the big bosses like Antharas, though).
Demon wind is good again RBs (if lands). The rest, well, are nice you have 1hit stuff w/.
Anthras is immune to debuffs so demon wind doesnt work.
You cant seed yourself, 5sec is the max delay between seed (and nuking) or you are to lose 'em. Seed have long reuse as well.
I have to agree with Varaya. Having tested the 68, 70 and 72 nukes with my Sorcerer, although the damage is nice, it isn't comparable to what I can do with normal Prominences for the same MP. I wouldn't bother learning those skills unless you have a lot of extra SP to spare.
The point behind these is to lay down a large amount of damage at once so that healers in a siege or other PvP don't have time to react. Makes for what we call a "Damage Spike".

True, but you could just have two or three nukers assist another nuker, so that all fire a nuke at the same time. Will cost less than half the mp of two seeds+nuke and do the same damage, and also in a "damage spike". And since it is several nukes, chances are higher that you will get at least one crit.
Well, toss the same number of nukers in and use inferno with two of them. The point is this: It takes 2 sorcs to cast inferno, and even if they assist one another, 2 sorcs can't spike as well as they could if they started off with an inferno. As for the mana issue, that's really not important. Unless your side is doing REALLY well in a siege, you don't live long enough to worry about mana exhaustion. My SpS throws spells off at ridiculous speed and still can't get through more than 15 or so enemies before he's taken down ( supposing the attackers are any good). Not necessarily a spell that I would USE, simply b/c sorcs are gimped compared to the elf/dark elf mages imo. Doesn't mean it's useless. I've seen it used to good effect. Trust me, you don't wanna get hit by it.
