I know this may seem obvious, but I just want to clarify. Is the light/heavy/robe armor bonus' etc. effected by the armor you have in your bracer/feet/helm slot? I know certain pieces are the same names, or look, as certain heavy/light/robe armors, but they don't say anything on them, so I just want to make sure that if I use plate looking boots I'm not gimping a caster class or something like that.
It doesn't matter, unless they're part of a set (required for set bonus). From B grade and up, you need to unseal boots and gloves to heavy/light/robes. And from a grade you need to unseal everything, but only with gloves and boots you have to choose what type armor it's for.
actually isnt the question moot?
as far as i know any armor that requires unsealing needs a full set
that would exclude the shield bonus from the nm set but i think everything else needs gloves boots and helm to get the full bonus
I'm not so much talking about set bonus' from armor as I am armor specializations, such as an overlord trying to get the robe bonus, but if I wear full plate boots does that interfere with it. My guess is from the first response is the answer is no it does not.
