just a short Question. Does Magic Power SA work with Seals, or only on Direct Damage Skills? Or does it work with all skills, including the buffs (which would be pretty useless).
Please not, I have never done this or personally tested it, but from a thread long time ago and far far away, the good Magic Empower would just self buff you as the orc caster even though it was a seal to do the clan/alliance.
The bad one, not sure of.
In my humble opinion, these are not the best SA's for an Overlord. While the one would be nice on Drain, otherwise, it would seem to be useless and the good one,well that would only help you.
You are much better off with either cast speed or health.

Magic Power adds a set amount of Matk in exchange for a % of MP.
So yes it does benefit landing an OL seals. On the other hand, the amount of Matk you gain is low compared to the amount you would actually need to land your seals more reliably. But the horrendous thing with SA Magic Power is the increased Mp usage. Given the high MP usage of ALL overlord skills and the complete lack of MP management skills, this SA is a disaster for Overlords. 216 MP for a single buff? (avg) No thank you!
Avoid this SA like the plague if your an Overlord. You'd get more bang for your adena if you took the money you'd need for this SA and just bought a stockpile of regular Spirit Shots instead. (even BSPS would be better than this SA) OL seals land reasonably well with regular SPS which can save you a lot of money (assuming you can find/craft them!) over BSPS.
I'd suggest instead:
Empower - Lower Matk gain...but it's free!
Acumen - Faster cast, 'nuff said.
Mana Up - Better 'safety margin' when things go south.
If your assisting melee even one of the usual melee SA's (with appropriate weapon) would be far better than Magic Power.
