It does, however, effect 2 handed weapons. Which have the same p.atk as duals (C grade and higher). At D grade, the best 2 hander costs a bit more but has a few more p.atk

Yes i know a Shillien Knight should use a shield, but Duals look way cooler :p
I was in a raid party with an SK that used duals and was the main tank. She tanked just fine. Mind you she was in the high 40's while the rest of us were in our low 40's
Its fine through C-grade, but once you hit B-grade your gann abe hurting, ALOT, if you keep useing duals. Duals through C-grade is a godo choice, but into B-grade you need to get Doom ( or BW...but doom is for tanking ) and a damascus with focus.
Honestly, in C grade anyone with sword/blunt who does not want to use a shield should choose the berz blade over crit duals any day.
-Berz blade uses your masteries
-Berz blade has as much patk, and the same atk speed.
-Berz blade damage is not divided into two hits, so you don't lose half your soul shot charge sometimes.
-Berz blade does not require overenchanting to get your SA.
-Berz blade can be traded for an SLS anytime you have the blacksmith available if you want to go to a shield/1H.
Now, if you already have your top C duals and +4 for focus, then might as well just do your thing and burn through to 52.
If not, I suggest the berz blade any day over the duals especially for a SK.
You'll eventually use something other than duals at A grade, but if you have access to constant buffs, or if you hunt solo, don't worry about it. Sure, you might be better off with weapons that suit your masteries, but it's your dime. If it doesn't bother you or anyone that you group with, I say go for it.
