I have some questions on my mind (since I'm new) and hope you can help me out :P I am thinking about becoming a dagger / bow user (elf) and so I started an elven fighter, but there's one thing I don't really understand, or so to say I'm unsure about: Mortal Blow costs 9 Energy and as far as I can tell does considerably do the same amount (roughly) of damage than Power shot, which has a longer casttime and cost significantly more MP. So my question is, will dagger user deal more damage later on since they have to be in front of the target or will I get better bow skills that make up for that really nice mortal blow (or skills that are yet to come). Because when I use Powershot to kill mobs I run out of mana so fast, but if I use mortal Blow and a few regular hits my mana lasts longer+ I kill almost as fast as with a bow.
Dager skills cost less mana then bow skills, ,but dager skills dont land each time for full power. And for archers, their skills are mstly for emergencies and small skale pvp, becouse as you noticed they drain mana too fast. Archers usualy just shoot away, without using attacking skills.
If you go archer you will get skills to increase it & make it easier to use. No matter what dagger/archer users don't get as much MP as most of the other classes. I currently have a level 30 light elf who does both dagger & archer. I suggest using the bow to shoot from range (when hitting mob) then wait for them to come to you & pull out that dagger & attack. Then your not wasting as much mp on constant shooting/sitting. Just use the bow for a first hit & finish them off with a dagger. :D Have fun hope you enjoy the game!

this guys is right, just shoot, don't use power shot untill it's almost dead, that way you'll get an over hit (more xp)
but mainly at lower levels, just shoot and use a dagger...try not to use too many specials cause you'll be resting more than killing, and also, mortal blow (and other dagger skills) work best when the enemy has his back to you.
