as long as i enjoy them i dont mind. Kinda think there shouldnt be drops for events anyway just enjoy it. I think anything NC does makes at least 10 new whining chumps. OP enjoy the event man im goin to like blowing stuff up. even put aside grinding alot and money making to do it..ts a nice distraction

The events last year were fine with me! No complaints. At least there was some loot to last years events. This years events have very, very little loot.
I think your hopes are too high. I'm not exactly rich, but I don't think loot is what should be the basis of events. If that's what you are only after, then you will probably be constatly disappointed. I see it as a free event that you can choose or not to participate. It cost you nothing. I understand the thrill of getting loot from these events such as the Haloween event last year, but the only problem is it sort of set a standard expectation from people that Events=Loot.

I'm sorry, i've been here since Closed Beta. Didn't know I was a nooblet. Just because previous events gave loot(And definately not all of them ie. Arrowhead Run) doesn't mean that thay all should give loot. We have been spoiled on many accounts with events that have, but it shouldn't make the events any less fun if they do not. People complain either way so i'm not surprised that you would voice up.
If you would explain yourself better, you would probably get a more straight answer. To me, all I can gather is that you want events to put cash in your pocket. Well I think that should not be the focus of events. I think that people can have fun with or without extra loot.

Knowone can give you an answer because we really don't know why all the events since xmas have been less rewarding than last years events. By rewarding I mean the amount of loot that can be optained from the events.
There are several theories out there every where from players complaining about ruining the economy with events to keeping the secondary market in business.
I think it has to do with the economy. NcSoft has always said they would not interfear with the ingame economy. Many people complianed after every event last year about them ruining the economy. I honestley think they listened to the complaints and decided to make events less about rewards and more about a little extra in the game to keep players occupied.
This could be close or way of non of us players know why the events have changed. I have a feeling we will never see loot events again like we had last year. So I dought I will ever get excited about an event again.

Yeah some people are easy to please. Unfortunately it has a negative effect on many other people. :o
well i only started playing this year (which clearly makes me a nooblet)...
I had fun with the letter event although I didn't exactly profit (vacation caused me to give 80 letters to clannie).
The bunny event was weird--no bunnies.
The last one with the spawned mobs of mobs was a blast (as a 'nooblet' lowbie seeing all those swarms of mobs red to me had quite the pucker factor--lol). Incidentally--it was rewarding too.
Maybe after playing a long time I'll need more diversion from continuous events.
On the whole (not being able to compare) they seem like a lot of fun to me thus far.
Are they supposed to be like the lottery or something?
