Pet Levelling

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the most efficient way to level a wolf?
The wolf is lvl 14 (now) and I am lvl 23. Is the pet XP dependant on my level or its own? I tried taking it hunting with me on my usual killing grounds but everything seems to aggro on it and its dead before I can land a hit. On lower mobs it just doesn't get enough XP Help please I am running out of SORs.

The pet needs to attack things.

Get it armor and a weapon at the pet manager, as well as pet soulshots.

Until it is your level, you are better off tanking for it and letting it do all the damage. Then, once it is your level, have it assist you in combat.

Wolf xp is dependent on the damage it does. Armor is a must on a wolf. You need to hit the mob first before you let the wolf attack to prevent aggro from it as much as possible. At your level I don't recommend using shots on the pet because when it crits the mob will turn on it. Also don't hunt around too many aggressive mobs. They love to eat pets.

For the wolf lvling i suggest you buy the best wolf weapon you can afford. Its the most urgend thing to lvl a wolf.
The wolf get Exp from the damage he does so more damage means more Exp for him.
To lvl him up very fast from 14-20 i would go to necropolis of sacrifire. Park him in the floor before a room and pull a mob with good D grade equip you wont have much trouble. After you did some hits let him support you.
Unless other ppl say i wont use pet ss on him this cost only more money and the wolf can pull agro faster.
You can lvl him there till 27 or 28 after that i would go hunt field mobs. I think exp is faster for him then.

Be sure you dont hunt in spots where archers, magic or AoE using or agro mobs are you cant handle. In general Wolfs are very weak vs archers and magic i suggest not to attak them with a new wolf at later lvls its not that big problem anymore.
