So, after a very long time away from l2, my friends talked me into comming back. Said it was much improved over c1, so i made a new character on bartz. c2-c4 is all new to me, so i figured it be better now.
Thus far from level 1-41, literally well over 3/4ths of the players i see are either bots or private stores, i see very few actual players. Where is everyone? Please tell me they are in the c4 areas or something, because right now this feels like a single player game im paying per month for, and from what i've seen for my first 41 levels, it really is discouraging and makes me want to just play something else.
2 people in all of cruma, no one in ants nest, 3 people i saw at death pass, and every out of the way area devoid of players, just bots, wth? It's not quite as bad in the necs/cata's, but even then there are still maybe 4 parties down there of actual players at peak times, early morning or late at night i can end up having them all to myself or with a few other people.
This is not a rant about there being too many bots, i accepted bots where here to stay waaay back when i played before, this is me wondering why the game seems so dead now, are there just no more new players at all? And more over, me wondering why i shouldn't just ditch l2 for letting me down yet again and just go give WoW another chance; As bad as it can get, atleast there are people playing, real people anyway.
Worst of all, people are saying the farmers have gotten so out of control they have monopolys on high level hunting areas and raid bosses? So i have a single player grind expierence till im high then i can't even expierence high level content because the chinese own it? I thought it was bad back in c1.
Hey if what some people say is true my ingame char might get banned for merely questioning whats going on, just seems like it was a huge mistake to reactivate my account and give nc money again right now. Someone tell me im wrong and everyone is in some hunting area i don't know about or something.
