this event that gets you items so you can make fireworks, I'ts really suppose to drop lvl 12 crystals from the sky when you let the thing blow up. It is a free for all so make sure to do them outside of town so no one gets the items. If you play on Kain you can pretty much do it in town cause Kain is so dead.

They're not overly common, but they're dropping.

Seems that spoiling is messing up the drop table of the event btw...

Ok I logged on this morning at 10am CST saw a farmer in town selling firecrackers he at atleast 10 of each type (3 types). So I though ok this might be fun. Well after 2 hours of hunting I heve 4 elven firecrackers.

So this event is basically a non-event. Low drop rate for basic firecracker and harder for the other 2. But if you want firecrackers that are worth absolutley nothing you can get them from the SACU in town for 100k-250k ea LMAO.

Back to the grind I go.

Did you use any of them fireworks? are they different than the "run across the countryside" fireworks. I guess I will just sell mine

Yeah... I don't get the event team any more.. The last great event we had was the Pumpkin Event and since then, to everyone's dispair, the event team keeps besting themself at worse events each time. Honestly, I don't understand why they even bother to spend the time with it anymore. Who the hell cares about 3 or 4 firecrackers that give 9 seconds of entertainment. Ridiculous.

Typically Korea gets events before the American servers. They then take time and make new mobs, spawn locations, all sorts of different things since the main audience is NK and they may as well reuse the event for other countries.

I have no problems with that whatsoever.

Now, since 4th of July is specific for North America, they had to make an event for us specifically. They didnt have any events to use from korea because they already did the TOI event there a month or two ago. So, they just looked at what would be easily done. They already had firecrackers programmed on the server, they already had the drop tables that can easily be applied across all servers and they already had the event managers.

Basically all they needed to do was enable these things and make up some story and enter in the text....thanks.

Well, at the very least i hope they reward the winners chosen for the website. I have a few ideas myself.

Two large fireworks so far. Not sure if I'll use em, sell them, or get my clan together to make a fireworks display for the website. The firecrackers do the poof, but I think the large ones are dif.

I finally have enough to make one of the larger fireworks. I will probably head over to one of the mountain peaks in Dion or Gludio and explode it. At night, of course.

I seem to go 20 minutes without finding a single one, then I'll get 3 or 4 all in a row. Anyone else experiencing a trend like this?

3 Large Fireworks so far, though I haven't decided whether I'm going to light them all up in one huge explosion, try to sell them, or do a mix of both.

I just feel like screaming at the organiser for such kind of event.....where is the fun from a supposingly fun event where its event item drop is rare........may as well give me christmas tree.

I made ~15 large fireworks yesterday in about 5 hrs of play/bsing.

I seem to go 20 minutes without finding a single one, then I'll get 3 or 4 all in a row. Anyone else experiencing a trend like this?

When the event first started I was hardly getting anything. But around 5pm PST I guess they increased the drop rates. Now I seem to get a firecracker every 10th or 11th drop.

They increased the drop rates ? I feared that the drop rate of the firecrackers was effected by my quest items or something lol.

Either way that is good news if you ask me.

Personallly, this event ****** me off. If you remeber im pretty sure it was last years 4th of july event that Raid bosses spawned outside towns for everyone. To me this is one of the most pointless events ever, you get NOTHING out of it (unless of course you love watching little colors above your head for a max of 5 seconds or so ). With prices so high on weapon scrolls and stuff i was really hopping we would see another event like the pumpkin one.

NCsoft coulda made this good though, make drop rates lower on firecrackers and the magnesium and stuff, then once you build large firecrackers and regular ones and they shoot off, BAM! EW and EA and crytals or something have a chance to drop from the firecracker. Now thatd be sweet :p

it starts liek you're summoning a strider, or another pet....then bam, bam, bam, bam...it's pretty cool, i can't wait to get my whole clan together and set them all off :)
( but not so great on the event side, no rewards...kinda just makes it "busy work" )

The pumpkins were by far the best, though I really liked the last one with raid bosses and clues to where mobs spawned. The loot wasn't overpowering but it was still nice.

i got the last day of the pumkin event, which was awesome, i got a few enchant scrolls and some l2 scrolls, this event should be like, if you get 1000 large fireworks, you can set it off, and it explodes like a pinyata, goddies everywhere :)

I wish there was a bit more thought put into this.... the loot when you explode fireworks would have been a nice idea.

So, he is saying the event is just a whimsical diversion from the boredom of grinding in Lineage. But.. Isn't that enough? I'm hoping the Large Firework display is awesome.

so far I have gotten a few firecrackers a magniesuem* and gun powder, sold the mag for 75k some gunpowder and elven things for 50k ea.

I would opt-out of this event if it was possible. I'm just not interested in firecrackers. I just drag all the event items to my garbage pail item.

Well I have 30 large firecrackers so far, will probably save them until christmas time and sell them in a bulk item only shop so some rich clan can feed my adena needs...anyway, the event manager has two options

1. Create regular firecracker
2. Create large firecracker

Ok, so once you click 'create a large firecracker' the order reverses lmao. So it turns into this

1. Create large firecracker
2. Create regular firecracker

I have messed up a few times since I am used to being able to just click in the same area. Not a big deal at all but strange nonetheless.

You know, I thought this event was useless....until I sold the event drops I got yesterday for half a million adena. Not so bad.

Well I have 30 large firecrackers so far, will probably save them until christmas time and sell them in a bulk item only shop so some rich clan can feed my adena needs...anyway, the event manager has two options

The Mercenary quest in Dion has this problem too when you turn in the Cargo Boxes.

You know, I thought this event was useless....until I sold the event drops I got yesterday for half a million adena. Not so bad.

All I've done is sell mine as well, got I think 1.5m or so. I love this event it makes me soo much money IMA RICH btcih
