I was watching a couple stripped down dwarves and a human beat the crap out of the guards in the Orc Village last night with names like 00LOVESX00 etc.
anyway, next to where one of the guards was (they had pulled him out of his position into the middle of the square) was a stack of 17 Proofs of Blood. Naturally, I snatched them up.
well...sorry to disappoint you, but they are worth nothing to anyone who knows a bit about drops ;)
But you CAN of course try to sell them in Dion or any other town for 100k+, and i wouldn't even call it scamming if someone lazy or dumb enough buys them :p

When this game was "younger" you could find them on sale for 1 million per as not many people had the levels to take down the blood queen easily. Also, back then you couldn't just port to them, you had to run through dangerous territory to get there.
But of course now none of that is the case.
Quite frankly I think you could easily sell them for 100k to anyone wanting to start a clan but not wanting to spend the time with the bloody queens.
Its an item needed to upgrade your clan to lvl 3.
Worthless (unless as mentioned before you try to sell em dion to lazy and/or dumb people - but dont count on them selling fast)
well, I definitely dont want to be looked down upon for selling something like this. Was pure coincidence I happened to find them.
I see why they could be worthless though, considering there arent many new clans starting. I'll put up a sell shop and see what happens. Theyre definitely worthless to me
On Sieghardt most people that kill the Queen don't even pick them up, so any new clan wanting to get to lvl3 can just port to Dragon Valley and pick up the proofs for free.

unfortunately, I have put up a sale shop for them @100k and I wont be logging off til probably tomorrow because im staying beach side for the fourth (just came home from watching the shuttle launch)
now i feel like a jerk for trying to fish a new clan for adena for these wortheless things.. :(

Anyone needing these things gets the information where to get them easily. If he is too lazy to go to DV, he can buy them from you, and its a good trade trade for both (he saves the time, you get 100k ;) )

Mmh? Might be faster to port to dragon valley, look on the ground, pick one up and soe back than look for a store :p (I mean, proofs of bloods, there's dozens lying everywhere on the ground, always, so...).

True. Elro on Lionna is lvl 36 and naked and in Dion. Pay my port fees to Giran and DV and I'll run around and grab one for you. Doesn't matter if I die.
I dont know about your servers but all I did is run around in Giran shouting "Anyone has a extra Proof of Blood in their WH they can give me". Didnt take me long to get one. Alot of people have a few accumulating dust in their wh and dont mind getting rid of one.

When I first started on Hindemith I found one on the road to Dion. I said in clan chat "Wow, found this proof of blood thing on the road. Is it worth anything?" Everyone LOL'ed at me... :(

I started L2 around the start of C3. Ill guess that Proofs of Blood where failry common by then cause I saw a few lying in Dion on the ground a few times.

But hold on a minute with your advice folks! There ARE some new folks starting on Lionna (or who have started in past few months--quite a number in fact).
At level 30 or so--tiptoeing through DV is absolutely NO fun. Particularly when you are trying to level!
A few weeks back I made quite a nice profit adding Proofs to my overnight sell shops (so much so that I was briefly listed as a scammer--lol).
SirE's idea of selling at 100k in dion on Lionna is a good one and one I wouldn't dismiss.
Especially if you're selling other stuff overnight--why not throw a proof of blood in the sell shop for 50 or 100k?
I'd argue that there is a market of sorts--not a good or profitable one but at least a niche market. What the heck? They ARE free for the picking and they do occasionally resell.
I've found that almost ANYTHING is sell-able on L2...there seems to be "someone" looking for just about everything! That's what makes overnight afk sell shops worth setting up (as I have done every single night since beginning a dwarf).
Selling recipes for 25k, designs and blades used in crafting for market rate, proofs, scrolls---it all adds up. I'd guess I make 300k a week in overnight sell shops just from what my DA gathers for the dwarf to sell.
To OP--set it up! Someone will buy them (and if not, drop price to 50k--then 20k--at some point it's cheaper to buy from you then port to Giran and DV!!!!)

I did set it up. It ran for over 24 hours and didnt sell any. I put them back into the bank.
However, I DO remember seeing buy shops in Giran asking for PoB's no less then a week ago. I'll hold on to em
