What are the benefits and downsides of each class? What is better to solo, and how should you solo for each class? And who is better at PvP, PS, or SH?
Give me your input, facts, and opinions.
=)
First things first, you can't use the img thing to display pictures, sucks i know.

Both are excellent solo classes though i would probably say that if you are decent at an SH you level faster. PS doesn't kill that fast but relies on never, ever needing to stop to gain decent XP. 3% per hour in low 70's so that's not too bad. Not the best but it's probably better than most classes solo.

PS style is very melee oriented generally. Most wear light armor and use a melee weapon, preferably somethign fast like a sword or a dagger to facilitate cubics. A PS is basically a tank/healer hybrid acompanied by a glass cannon with VR. The upside is you are a self contained party. Downside is that to compensate for this awesome set of pets and such there are drawbacks. Pets cost crystals and all serviros take XP.

The crystals are not a big deal. You easily make the money back but still every week or so you have to go get more. More of a hassle than a real issue. The XP drain is not bad. Your solol pet is Shadow whom you already will know about. Pets get markedly stronger after 40 so damage output is no problem and it works out about the same as a real duo. The lower XP pets are generally for party use so i won't go into them, If you'd like to know more about them though i'll be happy to post.

PVP is an odd thing because they are very different. PS is very versitile in PVP and most the time you will probably use silhouette. With her I can almost always take out a dagger or archer within 5 levels. Soft targets like mages and healers are a problem because the pets have such horrible defense they rarely get to hit unless it's a siege or some other mass PVP situation. As such Ps PVP is kind of dependant on the situation.

Another optiobn and one that i have found works better for me is the role of a healer. A PS pet gained at lvl 56 called nightshade is a healer, not only that but it's a very good healer. I have found that i'm decent at keeping folks alive and my clanmates usually prefer the healer now to the DD simply because it is so good at keeping them up.

Ps is enjoyable, i honestly can't think of many classes where i would enjoy grinding but the class can keep you busy and really it's a far different experience than any of the other classes in the game. On the other hand its not for everyone. Truthfully most of my roommates would never dream of playing one because they dislike the style and a RL friend who started playing a few months ago just changed to SpS because she "didn't choose wizard so that she could be a permenant buff slave to a pet".
First off, i would like to say, why can't i post my IMG sig? lol

Second. Thank you, you have givin lots of information, and very detail. Some of it was opinion and some of it facts.

I know that SH are good at offense, and are simple to manage, but then again PS are more...interactive with Pets to manage, and having the player more self suficiant.

If there is more info on the PS plz let me know.
Again Thnx!
What specifically is it you'd like to know. I've played PS for 4 Chronicles now so i can tell you pretty much anything. I'm assuming the reason you can't post the images is either because of bandwidth issues or policing the images. Most of us just make them into links like i've done.
Well i have tried out the Summons, but noticed that they take very little time to stay summoned, and take about one hour or more to be avaliable to resummon. Is this how it will always be? if not how do i make the cooldown time go faster, and how do i make them last longer while summoned?
they last exactly 80 minutes. If any of you is in combat or being hit the timer moves 4 times faster so for me the times usually lasts 23 minutes or so.

When you get your levle 40 skills the pet cooldown time to recast is dropped to 20 s and for the quest they give you a special buff that does the same.
ahhh cool. Thank you.
