Majority Class?

I was wondering what class is used the most? I've not been on the main land much so I dont know. Although I can guess that mostly I'll be finding Sorcerers, Spellsingers and Spellhowlers. Anyone from the mainland feel free to tell me what class you see most of!

Thanks!
HE, SR, Sps, SH, Necro.

Spellhowlers are probably the most popular class that is actually played on account of their having Body to Mind and being very powerful nukers (cough: nerf stick please). You'll probably start to see more dagger classes and healers in C5 though. It changes with every chronicle. For now, yeah, SHs win, at least on Gustin.
Dwarves.
Hmm, so you dont see many Sorcerers? I thought that was one of the majority as well. Forgot about Necromancers though. Used to them being useless back in the day. :P

Lol forget it, we sorc's are a nerfed minority :p. Oh well atleast it's better then being FOTM.
Dwarf scavi's in Brig with a blunt and a name like "hdhdhdf" outnumber all other toons combined.
After that it's gotta be a nuker class of some kind I would think.
Hey, Sorcerers arent THAT bad. I was going to be one back in the beta, and am considering going Sorcerer again. They're kinda the average between Spellsinger and Spellhowlder. Plus they look less girly than the Spellsinger, and they dont run like the Hunchback of Notredame, and their armor looks less..... strange.

Sorcerers are cool! Zubei Robes anyone? :)

LOL at the Dwarf with Brigandine thing though! Check out the Orc Villiage on Bartz, you'll see why I appreciate that more than you may think.
I assume when the OP said used the most they weren't referring to farming.

Ah you see now, there's our problem. We're not considered a specific class, we're considered a mix between SpS and SH, therefore if they need a nerf, well ofcourse the sorc should get nerfed too, bam nerf hammer.
We miss the versatility in skills that the SH and SpS have, even though according to every little bit of text in the game we should be the most versatile and elaborate in dmg doing skills. Our AOE ability kinda made up for that, but again, "You lvl too fast", bam aoe nerf hammer.

Sure we're still a good class. Hell I'm not saying we're as bad as dwarfes, but we are not as good as any other nuker. I would like to use more then 2 skills in pve & pvp all the time. and I'm sick of hearing: "OMG SpS, SH and Necro are overpowered and you want more skills, lolz go cry" -.-
If you had done your "see Giran" quest, you would see that naked Dwarven Fighters outnumber other classes there. And a large part of them are the toons of legit players.

So the question is where (and with what goal) you like to see other classes. For example, if your toon mostly sits in Giran near the Private Craft area of the market, you will always see a lot of warsmiths, despite the fact that the class is not very popular in the game.
Sorcerers still beat most, if not all melee classes, and I think Archer classes as well if you can get off sleep fast enough.

And no offense but.... 2 skills? Maybe you arent doing something right because I see a lot of useful skills. Sleep, Cancel, Blazing Skin, Decay, Surrender to Fire, and Blazing Circles are all pretty useful. And they're even good in group battles with Sleeping Cloud and Rain of Fire.

I cant imagine that they have only 2 good skills.
See how you did mention Sleeping Cloud, which is worthless in PvP, but didn't mention Slow, which is essential for your good PvP count? :D

Nerfed? Compared to what? A GM?
Sleeping cloud is good in GROUP PvP. Maybe not in 1v1 though.

BTW, are you sure Silver Rangers are one of the majority classes? Even when I made a couple brief incursions into the mainland on Bartz I didn't see many at all, in fact I saw none. Sure I was in Gludio... but still. I would think I'd see a couple.

My sorc uses prominence. And prominence. And prominence. And prominence. Sleep cloud if it gets a little crazy. Occasionally aura bolt if the mob is low enough on hps (usually when prominence fails.) If I'm doing something smashing like soloing toi for quest items, I'll use surrender to fire and slow.
could mean shadow ranger see alot of them
There IS no Shadow Ranger, maybe you mean Phantom Ranger. Either that the translation is different where you are. But either way I think SR definitely is Silver Ranger. Maybe they are on a different server. I'm on Bartz, so maybe they arent as previlent here.

Dont see many Hawkeyes on this server too. Mostly Sorcerers, Necros, and Orcs.

Sleeping cloud is good in GROUP PvP.

Sleeping Cloud is worthless in GROUP PvP. You don't have Canceling Cloud to make it land, and Waking Scrolls are dirt cheap.
When did they invent Waking Scrolls?!!

Okay, I guess a lot more has been changed since I was gone than I thought. :P
Waking scrolls were created in C3.

I would say the most popular avitar is the female dwarf, I mean..hunting you see em, Giran...well it is all you see...

On kain at least, there seems to be a lot of gladiators (not to many high lvl ones).

I actually find the Spellsinger to be less prevailant than the other 2 nuker types.

Class wise I would say the necro is the most popular. I have seen human necros, human fighter necros, dwarf necros, elf necros, DE necros, orc necros...well you get the point...

Yes, I think the necro is the most over played class. Comming below that I would say Hawkeyes and Silver Rangers.

The least played classes are this, in no particular order.

Warlord
Elemental Summoner
Warlock
Phantom Summoner
Tyrant
Elven Elder
Temple Knight
I havent seen too many HE's on Bartz, maybe a couple in early levels, so maybe there are less HE's on that server than others. I have seen that there are a lot of Dwarves, and Mystic Nukers.

Sorcerers still beat most, if not all melee classes, and I think Archer classes as well if you can get off sleep fast enough.

I was talking mass pvp, because for me and mainly in Lineage II (except the olympiad) is the only pvp that matters. Also good and prepared archers almost always beat good and prepared sorcs and archers >> nukers in pvp for kills and survivability. Sure I can kill alot of melee 1v1, but in mass pvp I mostly dont survive long enough to kill more then one, maybe 2 if I'm lucky. Also maybe you should go talk to Taraza about learning to use defensive magic buffs hm?
And after 4 kills I'm spent, bye bye mana, so atleast half of the siege I have to get somewhere safe to rest. Also sleep = a non factor in mass pvp, mental aegis is stillabout 70-80% resist even with BSPS, even if it lands, pop waking scroll, wow I just slowed that guy for 0.5 seconds, in the time I cast sleep + that time I could have gotten off maybe 1.5 nukes.

See that's the problem, you don't know my class, you just look at the skill list.
Also Blazing skin is a buff lol, not a skill, handy when you get stunned by a mob who has 1/100 of it's hp so he dies before you do, otherwise it makes no difference soloing.

Exactly.
Pve = Prominence + prominence (+aura flare/bolt), +sleep if there's a problem. Perhaps Blazing circle if I'm in the rare AOE group and sleeping cloud above 60's when the land rate is anyware above ultra crap. But I'm not, so now just prominence and aura bolt, whoopie.
Surrender to fire is useless unless I'm in a party with more then 3 Sorc's, slow is useless aswell, since if it is even necessary to hold the mob back the SE will root. Surrender to fire is only good if you can now kill the mob in 4 nukes, I can hardly get off 2 nukes before a mob gets to me, more = death or wasted mana/xp.

Seriously play a +50 sorc, then come talk about versatility while you've been leveling more then 10 levels with prominece alone.

Mass and prepared pvp = Prominence + cancel. Unless I see a very strong character around my lvl I might try and slow or decay, but again mostly 2 skills.

Also I didn't say I was crap at pvp or pve, I said we sorc's lack alot of skills compared to SH's or SPS, while we are supposed to be the masters of the 4 elements, we have the most limited skills of all 3.

Hmm, so you dont see many Sorcerers? I thought that was one of the majority as well. Forgot about Necromancers though. Used to them being useless back in the day. :P

Again:
"OMG SpS, SH and Necro are overpowered and you want more skills, lolz go cry" -.-
and:
"Also maybe you should go talk to Taraza about learning to use defensive magic buffs hm?"
Boy, sounds like the Mages need some serious patching. If they can only use two of their skills, than there is something totally wrong with that class.

Dwarf scavi's in Brig with a blunt and a name like "hdhdhdf" outnumber all other toons combined.
After that it's gotta be a nuker class of some kind I would think.

I actually saw a dwarf with no armor and the blunt you get when you first start in dion with the name hdhdhdf. It seemed to have been stuck trying to get to the wh and somehow couldnt find it's way. Then his identical looking brother with the name hdhdhd came and got stuck next to hdhdhdf. It was cool to watch...

But on topic, the most played classs in game that I've seen is temple knights and summoners :D (NOT)
