Now since I have something hot cooking with one of my Orcs and Stabby, I decided to re-visit an old Orc I made a long time ago...
So if you'd like to have some fun, it'S around the Orc village that it's happening these days. I am currently working on a player created event that is Kain server specific.
It involves Orcs, and a lot of PvP. It's geared towards server hopping (wich means you can just join Kain a be setup for the event in about 1 hour). Low preparation for participation.

I'm interested as well, Kain being my home server and all. I might even be willing to help out depending on what it entails.
Well you see, that's the best part. You basically do what you enjoy to help out.
I'll sketch it out roughly, and add a few basic instructions for each group.
This event is largely based on a very succefull event type in many MMO's. It's basically a n00b zerg. Power in numbers, Orcs raze the land of Aden. It's a reccuring zerg raid of n00bs that raze and plunder everything in sight (lasts around 1-3 hours depending on success...). You'd be surprised with the power of a group of low level chars...
Basic instructions for parties interested :
Participants : MAke an Orc. Try to use "motion" in your name. Be it [your name]motion. Examples : Bartmotion, Lionnamotion, wheelbarrelmotion, idiotmotion, Orcmotion, anythingmotion... Let's see your imagination... The repetition of a key (motion) makes it easy to find friends and to disrupt foes.
Group Leaders : Try to be a few levels over the others (give 1 hour more preparation). Be handy with group skills and tactics.
Enforcers : You'd like to clean house ? These kinds of zergs create an awfull lot of red (if you knwo what I mean). Be there for the show, and step in if it needs cleaning.
Philantropists : Donations are welcome, but hardly needed. Port fees for the group, lots of n00b weapons of very low grade and maybe a few buffs...

Hmmm, not really. I logged the char in to test event rewards for absolute n00bs. I'll admit to trying to PM'ing Ellie but that's IT ! (She wasn't on...)

I'll admit I didn't buy the weapons, one of my friends give me it cause he quite his HE alt..and didn't need it, so he's been a great help getting me started. and much <3 to him.
But I've done all of the ++'s on the duels from +5 and up, and +3 to 5 on the dagger.

right, well pic was too small firstly, secondly since you are talking about overenchanting....I said "NG" stuff seems attainable, straight from the shop in noob town stuff. The kind of stuff that takes a few easy hours of farming and it's yours.
more specifics are needed though, like when is this event to take place and what levels would you like us to obtain?
and how far and how regularly will this be happening? ie. is this building into something bigger then a single day/night event?
I agree. More specifics are needed but remember a surprise attack works best when it remains a surprise for the longest time possible. I can tell you right now a first attack is planned for the begining of next week.
You are to make Orcs of levels 1-20. You can make first class change quest, but try to stay under 30.
This WILL be an event that will be done over, and over and over. They will probably be a weekly or bi-weekly things, and will never last more than 3 hours. Best is to have your Orc ready, close to the southern exit of Orc village.
Make sure to check out the boards for the Announce of an attack (annoucement will be made on the day of the attack).
I just want to make hero, and I will to by God...my only issue is makeing money..I'm playing the maret and tring to o/e thing for the first time, and with AA/BS it's making things alot easier then I thought...and a lot of luck to!!

not that I can't, just thougth I'd see if you'd do it.
And it's kind of a waste of my time.. I got more importent things to do, like geting me and my cleric to 52.
SilverMotion the Enforcer has arrived (Kingdom beat me to ComMotion :p), it will just be in my clan title however as I hit the 7 char limit ages ago on Kain.
Woodmotionella has also arrived. I can't help but feel humble and awed in the presence of these green amazones, especially when they wield big sharp pointy thingies.

I would volunteer to grind the hell out of my orc to lead a clan. But unfortunatly in about a week from now I will be offline for 3 weeks so I would be a bad choice :p Im still goin to grind some levels out before I have to take off though :)
I would make the clan except I don't have 3 mil adena and 650k SP to spare. I will be available to buff people with my SE at about 7:30 PST if anyone is on to recieve them.

Hehehe, We'll make it a lvl 3 clan fast and then other peeps will be able to invite. You have until tuesday. The only real thing you need to do is create an Orc.
i was going to list names of all the motions i saw yesterday, it would take too long, suffice to say its getting pretty close to that C4 limit of 40 persons. specially thnks to crazylocomotion for helping out with twinks when i got broke ^^

And number 10 is motioNMotion. Just in the interest of keeping things straight. motioNMotion should wake up soon. Work sucks.
i think we will be doing 2 clans, not sure how this will work tho. with only one level 3 clan we are limited to 25 members, not enough, and we would need a level 4 clan to form alliances between other clans. right? dark has told me to start up another clan called kainmotions but i havent done it yet since it seems that we could (so far) all squeeze into one lvl 4 clan (30 members).
i think we will be doing 2 clans, not sure how this will work tho.
It works like a chain of command. The clan leaders get the orders, and relay them to their respective clans. This is because we are limited with ressources and the goal here is not to have a powerfull clan or make alliances, it's to group up a bunch of blood hungry Orcs who wanna ZERGGGG !
Very interesting the mix of people who are joining in anticipation of this event. Remember folks, there will be more than one attack, and the times and dates will change, so everybody will get a chance to participate...

1- The event is Tuesday. Time to be announced. Location : [you do not have security clearance for this information].
2- It's a n00b Zerg. This means we gather up as a large number of peeps at a given time and place, and then we select a destination. We port to this area and make it a start point. Then we move on to a finish point, and we mow, raze, pillage, kill crush and destroy anything in our path (only players tho, no mobs). Once at finish point, we flaunt, strut our stuff and generally scare the population.
I'll be in-game for a few hours, still need to find some funds to level up the clan (SP scrolls). On a side note, I got a GENEROUS donation from a Hero of Kain. The Hero will remain nameless, but is thanked publicly.
Then we move on to a finish point, and we mow, raze, pillage, kill crush and destroy anything in our path (only players tho, no mobs). BoardPK

I vote we do not mow down the cute wolvies or other nice pets. After all we are the green force and care about nature and all things alive or unallive in them! Besides, I dont want to make kira unhappy.
Sweet - this is gonna be fun - i didnt get to level yesterday cause of work - 14.5 hours straight then had to go back later for 4 more - UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
I will not participate to the today's raids, sorry. Hopefully I will have better fan in my CPU in a few days ... or maybe I will have to only play on winter ...
