QUEST: Electrifying Recharge !!

Does anyone did this quest succesfully ? I am getting mad with this one. Any help would be appreciated

Yeah, I have done the quest, you have to allow cathenoks(unsure right now) to hit/stun anything. Broke the lamp 5 times till i gave up. I was thinkin to do the quest in my 70s just for kicks but I didnt.
All in all waste of time.

Could you be more specific please ? I had been lot of time hitting catherocks, breaking some lamps, and nothing. It give u tatoo ? a good one ?

like i said i broke 5 lamps and never managed to finish (thus i received no reward)
to light the lamp you must allow the mob to hit and best stun you.

this is one of the most ******ed quests, you progress by getting beaten to death. Well if i return to play i may try it again. W/ 70 char i can take quite a lot of beating but again...

I believe the reward is the low grade dye (random number, random kind) which makes the quest pretty much pointless

I can confirm that... it's a random number of low grade dyes of random type. It improves on how fully you charge the crystal but it's never worth it (I got two +1 -2 Str dye for a brightly glowing crystal)
