oi next time can we plz plz plz plz be told about this more than 3 hrs before it happens. Comeon obviously you guys knew you weren;t going to do it on Tuesday so why coudln;t you post both the cancellation of downatime and the schedule of when it would be on monday before you wnet home to party.

They probably realized on Tuesday that the person that does the server maintenance had been let go in the NCNA streamlining. They've had to get casual labour in to change the tapes in the backup drives and, not wanting to pay them for too long, have done so at short notice and cut the maintenance time to an hour.
They obviously haven't hired anyone to change the in-game message as yet, hence the disparity between the website and in-game announcements.
Believe the website, it's something they seem to be able to change themselves here in NA without resortng to Korean "expertise". ;)

or that tuesday was the 4th of july and they didnt have adequate staff in to ensure things went smoothly which seems a bit more likely lol
