A Grade Armor for a Battle Prophet

Player Questions Started Last reply 79 posts
Eventually Ill move from my BW heavy to some A grade armor.... but I have no clue what to get.

Some info:
- I have +4STR -4CON tatoo
- OE B duals (Tsu*sls) for crits
- My main concern is pve not pvp
- I wont be the "main tank"
- I will have VR buff always, so my hp isnt an issue
- MP is NOT an issue (so dont say light JUST because it has more mp)
- I want to maximize my damage output (killing machine)

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions,
I would go heavy Nightmare or heavy Majestic.. One gives +70% to sleep & root hold + the extra def. The other gives to increase attack speed, +def, + accu. Go for the one that would increase the down fall to Battle Prophets. We don't have a special skill that gives us harder attack, BUT if you get a heavy armour that can increase the attack spd & accurancy then it should stack on top of your buffs & make it faster/easier to kill. :D Let me know how it works out, cuz I'm at BG & one step behind what your doing!
70% to sleep and hold on a battle prophet is a terrifying thing. Sure, you can do more damage with Tallum and such, but faster attack speed doesn't help you when you're asleep. And with C5 nerfing Mental Shield, well... you do the math.
They nerf the effectiveness of mental shield yes...but for a reason. Only giving half the facts is a bad thing. They moved sleep resist from WIT, to MEN. It'll actually work out better than it does currently.

I would go heavy Nightmare or heavy Majestic..

Heavy Nighmare:
P. Atk. +4%
Sleep and Hold Resistance +70%
CON +2
DEX -2
No way Im talking that! Almsot all of the armors Im considering have a +4% p.actk... however nightmare heavy has nothing else too boost my p.atck >< that one is crossed from my list.

Im considering either:
Heavy Magestic or Light DC
Does anyone know with one will boost my damage the most?
Heavy Magestic: P.atck +4%,+2 STR (...)
or
Light DC: P.atck +4%, Atck speed +4%, STR +1 (...)

Basicaly... does the +1 str of Heavy Magestic < or > the Ligh DC +4 atck speed
Any other suggestions ???

Then I'd say go with Tallum Heavy or Majestic Heavy. Tallum gives you a bonus to Attack Speed and boosts your strength, which will up damage a wee bit. Majestic is good for the increased p.Atk and Accuracy, which are huge helps to a Battle Prophet. Majestic also boosts strength, which is good.
Ugg ><
But Ill look so so ugly in Magestic Heavy
Hi there, Shrimpstoo! Look at you blazin' the trial for us Battle Prophets!

I can't answer your question directly since it will be awhile before I can wear (and afford) A grade, but I do know another battle prophet in our clan is currently rounding up tallum heavy. She seems convinced that is the best for her.

Who knows, but I will be watching you closely to hear what you learn.
Battle.... Prophet....

Thats kinda a Oxymoron. Prophets dont really have a battle side. They have no damage abilities, even fully buffed. But if you want to try it, go for it.
OH I guess when I was reading the nightmare ,I was reading something different. I thoguht at first the 70% would add to our sleep/root spells (that would be cool) but it doesn't considering not every class out there has those skills. **** :(
Hi Frayedknot
Send me an e-mail will ya ;) hows the battle prophet going ? What armor/weapon did you finally choose and hows it working out ?

I wont be able to afford A grade (helmet) any time soon either :D
Ive upgraded my tsu*sls and that set me back quite a few mil. I will let you guys how it all works out.

I think I have my mind set on Magestic Heavy now... Thalum is just going to give me more atck speed (more BSS >< ouch) and I presonaly prefer incerase p.atck over increased speed. Go Magestic Heavy! but I still hate the textures. ><
Great choice.. I know, I know ugly look. It's ok the Prophets were doomed from the start, with the fluffy skirts & banana suits! :(
Good Luck and let me know how it goes for future reference for my Battle Prophet!!!

Dont comment on something you knwo nothing about...
You probably dont have a battle prophet
Let me guess.... youve never seen a prophet equiped to dish out insane damage for a mage class? I can out-damage ANY non-buffed melee fighter, and hold my own in ANY situation.... Why would prophets get heavy armor masteries if they wert ment to be able to fight???
So shut the -_- up and go comment on something you actually know anythign about
Wooooooooo....

touchy. :D

Calm down dude, I've had a Prophet before, and I wasn't impressed after using other classes. And the problem is your saying "Unbuffed". How many people do you see arent unbuffed? They normally have a bot with them buffing them. So in the end it really dosent work too well. And they get heavy armor for one reason: So they can last longer when they start getting attacked.

The thing is the Prophet always has been a support class.

Besides, you yourself said you dont care about PVP. So what do you know about PVP? Dont sit there cursing and swearing and telling me that I dont know anything when your the one who sits there telling me that your class is so great and wonderful in PVP as long as the enemy is going in half-a**ed... and you dont even do PVP!

Now calm down and quit taking things so personally.
If your looking for damage from a prophet ur looking at Tallum heavy... thats the way to go for straight damage. I found that using Tallum heavy and duels is not bad, I use +4 Kesh's. If u already have minus con tats, its not worth getting any of the tank armors like NM or DC heavy, because you would just be going backwards. Talking damage, you might also what to consider a dagger and shield... you can dish pretty well that way.
So... if your going heavy go Tallum
If you want light, I would go with the DC light you were talking about, but that would be a little pointless, it would just make you a little more vulnerable.

Wooooooooo....

Im not a dude for one. :D
And yes I get "touchy" when it comes to Battle prophets because they are underestimated all the time, wouldnt you if someone told you your class sucked and you though otherwise? ;)
I never talked about pvp except mentioning that pvp was not my goal, nor did you mention pvp in your last post.
Ive always talked about pve.
No one can tell me that prophets suck as a class at pve.

As for pvp... well Im sure during a seige with her current set-up she would get killed pretty fast. Considering her con has been lowering ALOT. See, I agree with you, my prophet sucks at pvp. Then again... I still manage to take down time to time players that are my level or just a bit lower in a 1vs1 at arena... so I guess she doesnt suck that much

You should give the prophet a second chance! lol

So your telling me that +8% attack speed is better than +4% P.atck?????

I wouldnt use a sheild/dagger cause I dont need a sheild. Long explanation, but given my current party setup with my freinds I absolutly dont need to worry whatsoever about damage taken... its all about the damage output.
Okay, I may give that a try. Thanks for calming down, I hate it when people get angry and than I end up ruining their day by pestering them until they shut-up. Its better when they are more peaceful and we can get along. Although I'm still giggling about my "half-a**ed" comment. Something about it. :P

So, here is a question. What equipment do you use? I know you an use anything, but I was considering using a bow because of the Prophets large amount of buffs in criticals, accuracy, attack speed, etc. It would make for a great bow class. What do you think?
The point isn't to pick a class that your impressed with, it's to pick a class to your playing style. The reason why some of us think the Prophet is an awesome class & so amazing is because it suits our playing style. (You might perfer the overpowered nuker) It's also very hard to judge a class that you might of not played long enough. with new Chronicles things change the classes very easily, to you they might be a support class but to others they could be a spare tank or main tank for a raid or something. Wtih almost every Chronicle comes new skills which could change the way you look at a class & the way they are played. With my old clan I did some castle sieges with them and majority of them are unbuffed.. & didn't have a boxed buffer (which shocked me as well) but they basically depended on me (the only Prophet in clan) to buff them all the time & I did. Just saying it's common to see people unbuffed especially when they don't expect to get ganked or pvp etc...

Good luck with your Prophet & have fun with her, let me know how it works out
A bow is what a lot of Prophets use. The other half of them use duals. The problem with bows right now is when C5 hits, Prophets wont be able to use them anymore due to a weapons penalty. So I suggest using your bow well it lasts for now OR change to Duals & get use to them for C5. :) My Prophet is currently in BG & she uses the BW robes & BW Heavy. (Since I already had the rest of the BW set.) I'm currently debating on using duals or a bow at the moment.
My mood swings are notorious!
But I generally calm down pretty fast , lol. I agree with you, people that keep ranting on and stay mad aint good for anyone.

Well first Id have to point out that in C5 according to the last translations, they are going to have a accuracy and speed (casting I beleive) when using a bow or polearm. The accuracy is going to be killer, if you wanted to stick with a bow I guess youd have to pick between STR or DEX. Btw, our Accuracy buff only compensates for the lack of accuracy we already have as human mages, it wont compensate for the initial lack of accuracy AND the penalty. I would stick with duals (focus) or a two handed weapon with focus

My equipment, BW heavy, +4 STR -4 Con tats, OE tsu*sls, devotion set for buffing. Prophets only really shine after lvl 56 (as you probably know already)
Thats lame. I like Bows!

Guess its either a Hawkeye or Silver Ranger for me.

(why cant these stupid human warriors have brown hair like all the other humans?!)
Make it pink.. can you make the hair pink? lol
Ya I know, I found it sucked as well, thats why I made a light helf archer going SR as well.. :(

Well its not too late , you have till C5 to try a bow out! (and that may take a LONG while the way things are going now)

Human fighters dont have borwn hair option!?!?
Nope.

Closest thing is Red. Why do you think most Human Fighters have blonde and Red? Please tell me you've seen that!

I think I'm gonna go Hawkeye or Silver Ranger. I like the class too much from my *ahem* OTHER server days. I just like that damage and speed they get.
SR gets awesome evasion.. HE I don't find as good in Arena as they are out on the killing field. Anything with a bow is DEADLY and wont be nerfed in C5 so prepare to level alone :( but kick *** in pvp/pve situations..(also they can be expensive) I love the pros & cons to this game. (some classes have more pros or more cons then others) :p

Ive always told poeple to play what they like, not whats the "best class". I like support classes alot, but I love the fact that the prophet can dish out damage too. Thats why I love my class so much, not for everyone.

Have fun with the archer :D I will stick to my prophet
Battle Prophets rock. I keep on telling myself I'll make one someday......
After much calculations, discussion and headaches... Ive come to the conclusion that Thalum Heavy (increase atack speed) does do more damage over time than the Magestic heavy (incresed p.atck).
but.....
Thalum heavy -> Poison and Bleed Resistance +80%
Magestic Heavy -> Stun Resistance +50%

Since my main concern is pve and we always have someone in our group that cures poison and bleed res. buff.... the stun resistance of the magestic heavy looks better. Did I mention my CON is low? Ill get stunned like crazy by mobs ><

Any Suggestions?
Thalum heavy. vs. Magestic heavy for pve

Any Suggestions?
Thalum heavy. vs. Magestic heavy for pve

Any differences in availabilty and cost between these two?

I like the idea of having some increased protection against stun. I have lowered my CON as well and get stunned fairly easily in PvE.

I'm thinking of trying out my level 45 prophet as a battle prophet soon. Perhaps when I finally get my BD done.

Frayedknot, I think we are starting a movement here!
Go go Battle Prophets!
They might not own at pvp, but **** they are fun to play.

Convert all the 2 box prophets and use them to their full potential!!!!
Ok, if you're going this way, there's only one best set for you, and thats Tallum Heavy, especially since you're using Focus Duals.

It adds damage and it makes you attack faster, this is awesome when you can buff yourself as well and have the Focus SA.

Majestic Heavy isn't as good and its alot more expensive anyway. The only thing it has going for it is stun resistance.

The only other remotely close possibility is as you mention Dark Crystal Light, But IMO, its not quite as good as Tallum Heavy.
<- Will go with Thalum heavy

Thanks guys for all your suggestions and ideas!
What would be the best set up if someone did want to try (just try it out) pvping with the Prophet? a bow or duals? & what set up? Heavy or light or robe?

<- Will go with Thalum heavy

Thanks guys for all your suggestions and ideas!

Good luck and keep me posted!!

SirE...you gotta try it, I think you will love it. The key is to have your proph properly equipped and tattoed. Please don't try it with robes and a staff and expect to be successful.
For a true battle prophet you really need heavy armor to stand toe to toe with someone...unless your really high and can root everything...
With bows or duels, prophets do pretty limited damage with bows and it takes a long time to shoot. With duels you can do much more damage quickly and get up in there face. Another really good combo is a dagger and shield. More importantly then any kind of gear, is how you play your prophet in pvp... that makes much more of a difference then any equipment.

What would be the best set up if someone did want to try (just try it out) pvping with the Prophet? a bow or duals? & what set up? Heavy or light or robe?

The way I used to do it before I stopped playing a prophet is to carry both heavy and robes with me, and duals. I used robes if I fought against a mage hoping to get sleep in before he does, and then root. But against a melee or dd, again I used robes in the beginning until sleep and root went in, and then ran over to the target, switched to hvy and began whacking away :D. It all depends on your adena bank. If you really got some to spare, I would even consider a health blunt, and focus duals. Using the blunt until you lose 25% hp, and then switching to duals to do a lot more damage.

Either way, it sure is a lot more exciting and challenging to fight as one than a nuker. No more f1 debuff, f2 nuke, f2 nuke, f3 i win...

<- Will go with Thalum heavy

Nah, I was going to use focus duals and full plate.

Good choice for C grade.
You need the p.def heavy gives you and the hp bonus full plate gives for C grade (cause you dont have decent levels of BtB yet).
If your prophet can touch B grade go with BW heavy.

But if you just want to try it out (for fun) and ou have an extra set of Full PLate around, go for it

The plate and duals I have ready for my BD-to-be. I thought it might be fun to at least try out. My prophet is currently 45 so no B-grade.

Its too bad you wont get the full battle prophet experience at level 45 :( (lacking the "good" buffs and +Str - con tatoos)

An obvious piece of additional advice.....Hunting the undead is especially fruitful given the holy weapon buff.
Hey Shrimp, I chose to go with Majestic Heavy and I love it. I still get stunned a good deal but it's not definately better than without. Also, I was using overenchanted B focus duals but I recently switched to an A dagger (no SA) and I'm loving it. I thought my accuracy wouldn't be good enough but as long as I'm fighting whites and greens then I hit almost every time. Now that I've seen the bonus of the added attack speed, I see that Tallum Heavy might have been a better choice (although I don't like the way Tallum Heavy looks on me).
LOL, for some reason I've read it as a Battle-Bishop all this time. For a prophet this holds even more true.
Thanks Cordelea for your input.
Im really curious to see what other Battle Prophets have/are doign and how its working out.

One question though, did you really notice that much of a difference switching to OE B duals with Focus to A grade dagger? What + was your OE B duals ? +4?
I'm currently at BG level 52 Prophet & I currently have BW Robes, with teh money to spare to get heavy BW.. But does that mean I have to get the BW heavy boots & glvoes to complete the set? Since BW Robes have there own gloves?

But does that mean I have to get the BW heavy boots & glvoes to complete the set? Since BW Robes have there own gloves?

The boots and gloves must be unsealed to the correct type (robes, light or heavy). It's free at any blacksmith to seal and unseal them.

"Any Blaksmith" are the ones in town making it VERY easy to switch back and forth. It was doing that for a while with my Prophet and Bishop until I finally crafted another set of gloves/boots/helmet. It was starting to be annoying since I had to excahnge gear betwen toons. Should be easy since the gear is all for the same toon.
Ok good, then I think that is what I will do! I have my BW Robe set & my duals. All I need is the BW heavy & I can solo,TRY pvping lol & use my robes if I'm in a group :) *YAY* Know to find he best play to solo with my 52 Prophet..hmm.. (I thin kI want green & white mobs...branded?)
Tiffy...

I switch back and forth between BW heavy and BW robes and seal and unseal my gloves and boots each time. It really inst a big deal at all unless you are in a hurry. If you are out soloing with heavy and your clans needs you to join them as a party buffer, then they have to wait for you to make the switch. That rarely becomes an issue.

Regarding where to solo at 52, I have been soloing in DV on Royal Cave Servants and Headless Knights from 52 to now almost 57. The Knights just turned light blue to me but the Servants are still green. You should be able to mow then down quickly as I do. At 52-54 you should easily knock down 10% exp per hour and do very well on money and mats even with spamming BSS. Grab the Lamentation quest from the Antharas watchman at DV entrance for even better results.
I was using +8 Tsu*Tsu. They're approximately equivalent to +6 SLS*Tsu except the Tsu*Tsu has a stronger focus and higher matk. I found a good deal and was able to trade them (plus about 20mil) and got a +4 Soul Separator (no SA). I don't expect that you can easily find this kind of deal. Eventually i'd like to put Crit Damage on it but I can't see purchasing a lvl 12 Crystal at today's prices. <crosses fingers for another medal even>

I went from Normal attack speed to Very Fast. I do about 20-30% more damage per hit and I hit more often. I discovered a few unexpected bouses. I hit harder and faster so I take less damage because the mob has less time to hit me. I hit harder and faster so VR (when I solo I don't have this but I usually play with an SE friend) returns more HP. I thought my critical rate would be poor since I no longer had the focus SA but daggers have a higher natural crit rate and I actually crit about the same as before (possibly even a little more now). My crits are now much more damaging. When in party with Sws and BD I often crit for > 1000 HP (as a prophet that just feels insane). The only thing I don't like about the switch is the shot price. *** isn't too bad but ABsps has made me much more concerned with when I use it.

I guess it all really depends on your playing style.
From what your telling me using a dagger is a great option for prophets that solo on green/white mobs.
Unfortuantly, me and my leveling friends always hunt white/yellow/light red mobs. Im afraid to see the effect of transfering to a Dagger would do to my accuracy.
Thanks for the help! :D The problem isn't really switching back & forth between equipment but the weight penalty that it could put on me. I remember when I had my FP gear & Divine Gear & then my crystal staff, duals & CSS caused quite a bit of weight penalty, & I couldn't carry as much CSS which sucked :(
So if I've got BW boots I can go to the blacksmith & seal them and unseal them as bw robe boots? Sorry I've never done it before, so I'm not sure how it works, & I don't want to screw it up :)

Absolutely, same for the gloves.

Don't carry your BW robes and BW heavy at the same time. Put the one you are not using in your wh. Also, if you want faster casting while you are in heavy, buy a devotion set with leather helmet for the bonus.

I wear BW heavy with duals, carry devo set and still have enough weight capacity to carry almost 4,000 BSS. That a good 2+hours of leveling.

So if I've got BW boots I can go to the blacksmith & seal them and unseal them as bw robe boots?

Yes. It's free and you won't lose any enchantments on them. Make sure they're unequipped.
When I play with a party I also fight white, yellow, and pink mobs. The miss rate is such that you CAN solo pink mobs but the miss rate makes it a gamble that isn't worth it. Fighting vampires I can take them down quite fast but they do a lot of damage. If two attack simultaneously I can still take them down but if I get into a series of 3-4 misses then I end up needing GHPs or possibly Return2. For that reason I wouldn't solo pinks with a dagger (but I wouldn't suggest it with duals either). In general, when soloing you want to fight lower lvl mobs for safety and kill speed.

In party, because I'm not the only one attacking, misses are far less of a problem and still happen rarely enough that the dagger does more damage/time than duals.

I forgot to add that a dagger allows you to use a shield. Shields decrease your evasion but humans mages in heavy don't evade and prophets while they don't have shield mastery they do have Bless Shield.

Also, when I play in party I am often the tank. A dagger w/shield is better for a Prophet tanking (or pet leveling). The high attack rate means it's easier to hold aggro and the high damage crits also makes the mob unlikely to switch targets.
Thank you very much :) I'm currently using a homu sword for the faster casting speed, well I'm wearing my robes. So I'll probably put my robe & sword in my WH, and then switch if I'm needed for a group or something from my clan.
Oh yea, the party I usaully play in is Prophet, BD, Sws, and SE. So we have great buffs but the BD isn't dancing Accuracy so in theory I could miss even less in party (although there are better dances to be using).

Ill have to try that out one of these days.
Armor first though , I' ll have fun with tweaking with my weapon latter.

Hmm, so should I try my level 45 with focus duals or my old +4 DS w/ focus and shield?
Use each for an hour and compare the difference! I would be interested to hear if you think there is a difference over time.
I would like to know which is better to use as well. I currently have BG Duals, BUT if a dagger & shield is better then I might go that route. What BG Dagger is the best to use with SA Focus, Kris?

Hmm, so should I try my level 45 with focus duals or my old +4 DS w/ focus and shield?

I would like someone else to try this out. What focus duals do you have? The DS is low C grade so it wouldn't be a proper comparisson if you were using Raid*Spirit (though it would still be interesting). Also, your Bless Shield is only lvl 1 so your shield isn't as effective as it will be after lvl 56. Please test it though.

****, I just realized a major flaw with my comparisson. I observed a significant difference but I did go from [essentially] top B grade duals to top A dagger. To compare properly it would have needed to be a top B dagger or top A duals. But a top A dagger is significantly cheaper than top A duals so there is the cost effectiveness factor as well.

The duals are +4 Raid*Spirit. I will definitely give both a shot, though.
Maj vs Tallum
on lower lvls tallum is better cuz its more dmg/sec, but on higher lvls you will have more and more problems with accuracy and every accuracy addtion helps

for groups i would recommend maj heavy cuz in groups you usualy hunt higher mobs where you can have problems with accuracy

for soloing i use maj heavy cuz of stun ressist and cheaper hunting than tallum, but tallum heavy is great for hunting in Forest of the Dead.

for weapon focus dagger if you dont have accuracy problems is best dmg/sec, when you start having acc problems duals or 1handed 2handed swords are great replacement, bow is bad solution it has one of the lowest dmg/sec for proph, low accuracy and the only advantage is root&shoot tactic

but if you dont care about pvp, you should have +str +dex -con tatoos
You said to use Maj Heavy when you are hunting with a group because of accuracy, but they wouldn't really have to worry about accuracy because others in the group would help contribute to the damage being done on the high mobs.
Shrimpstoo asked for max dd setup. If you miss mob you dont do dmg. So on higher mobs is maj heavy more dmg/sec than tallum heavy cuz in tallum heavy you will miss faster with maj you will hit slower.
someone has issues w/ ketra dudes and their insane evasion. :) [or forge]

but before them i think tallum is better. +++for dance of inspiration

and you feel like buff bot, honestly swinging in the air is quite frustarting (and as prophet you have zero special that always hit to feel a little better)
if you are in fast group and do like 5 hits per each mob, and miss once per 5 mobs cuz of lower accuracy of tallum then maj i sbetter, if you add not hitting while stunned and bit lower chance getting stunned in maj, i think maj is better

Hmm, so should I try my level 45 with focus duals or my old +4 DS w/ focus and shield?

I don't think the dagger will be quite as effective before 52 or so, unless you have a 56+ SE or prophet to buff you (or warcryer :P)

The dagger's high attack speed and naturally high critical is what really makes a dagger so great on a mage class. You really do need guidance 3, focus 3, death whisper 3 buffs. If you are missing those it's probably not much better then any other weapon, maybe even worse if you don't have guidance buff at all.

I'd still be using a Kris w/ focus on my 7x warlock if it weren't for pvp (acumen weapon is a necesity). A grade daggers are nice, but too expensive for pve (atleast for a summoner burning crystals and petss it is), especially if you have to give up an SA to get the A grade dagger. I haven't been able to try a crit damage dagger but I really believe the crit damage SA would not make up for loss in crit rate. I recomend Bloody Orchid with focus for A grade but it's not even necesary, just work towards an OE Kris. :)

A dagger (Kris in my case) is very amazing when you add BD. If you take it farther and add sws and a warlock queen blessing you will crit so hard and so often that you will never want any other weapon. The beauty of a dagger is that you can rely on crits for damage, so low strength (i have -4 str) isn't as much of a problem as with weapons that have a lower crit rate.

So, to all you battle prophets who haven't tried it yet, once you hit 56, get a Kris w/ focus. Truely an amazing weapon for pve.

Anyone on Sieghardt that wants to feel queen blessing drop me a PM.
Problem with mystic classes is that their melee dmg is not based on weapon masteries cuz mystic general weapon masteries are weak but on patk of weapon, tattoos, armor, so if you dont upgrade your weapon to proper grade your dmg will be quite low even if you have best armor buffs tattoos and whatever, thats why i use Sgr duals even its expansive and i could use Agr/Bgr, but i want to do help with dmg not to pretend helping with dmg

btw, i am not battle prophet :p
Nya have you pvped with your character at all?
If so do you know what to recommend a level 52 Prophet that wants to try pvping, a certain set up to use? Heavy robes? weapon? etc..
depends on type of pvp
weapon:
group pvp either acu weapon for better heals/root/rez/rebuff or health weapon to live longer if you dont need heals/root/rez/rebuff you can use bow or whatever you want to do our crapy dmg:)

sieges same as group pvp + you can have mpup/conv weapon to buff large masses of ppl

olympiad/1v1/arena duals/sword for highlvls, dagger for lower lvls + bow for root&shoot or UDed ppl, kiting etc

armor: robe ftw for almost everything, or robe and heavy/light on macro to switch if neccessary
1v1 robe against nukers, heavy or drac leather against others
Nya was hero for long enough on Hinde... And sure took participation in sieges.
Thanks Nya for input
Its nice to have the opinion of a higher level prophet thats had experience hunting higher level mobs. I wasnt sure if accuracy became a problem at higher levels. Like you I hunt with a fast group sometimes talking down mobs even before our dorf has time to spoil.

For now, i think my best bet is going to be Thalum (cause its every so slightly cheaper that magestic and Im not having problems with accuracy yet.). Once Im having problems with accuracy will add a +4 dex -4Con tatoos. And once thats not enough swicth to magestic.
if you hunt ketar orcs and anything 80+ accuracy is a real problem. Another accuracy option is dama*dama duals, really sucky duals but better than swinging in the air.
Thanks for the help :)
