Hi all. I', distressingly new to the game ( just a few hours) and have been wanting to give ait a try for a while now.
Im an avid RPer ( really, I have been playing wow for a year now, and am still level 40ish - too much gabbing and looking around! ) and really get into the social gaming thing.

The point, for those that missed it, is that every time a new clan pops up claiming to be evil or dark they fail.
In the two years I have been here on Lionna, I have seen them come and go, but only ours has remained. Yes, it has undergone some changes (http://www.rimwall.com/echoes/content.php?content.5), but we are the only one that has lasted.
My point is that I wish you luck, but I will not be expecting much.
I think it's also because we've had clan leaders that actually care about their clan members.
I've heard that many of the clans that fail do so because their clan leaders get too full of themselves, or can't handle what they get into.
Leading a clan is not for everyone, and I only took up the mantle because the alternatives were undesirable. Leave it in the hands of a despot, or disband.
I think not.
I struggle daily with the choices and consequences of leadership. Am I doing the right things? Can I do more to make it more enjoyable for the clan members?
I look at my roster, I look at my members and I know then and there that yes, I am doing good. Could I do better? I'm sure I could. But I'm doing everything I can, limited as I am by various factors, to make their L2 experience as good as possible.

I caught your whisper just as I was signing off, and am STILL fighting with the chat interface, which isnt as user friendly as it seems. One of these days I'll figure out whisper/tells
NP--feel free to hollar at me anytime. I started in January and still seem to not be able to do the simplest things (the command to assist in RBG's is something I forget every week or so...lol). The warsmith is usually afk selling overnight.
If I can give you a hand I will (though money is so tight for me right now I can't afford an antidote!).
I prob have some NG gear around that might be useful you can have if you're going to stick with the game--feel free to use or sell it.

And during reign of your predecessor quite a number of clannies left unhappy. It's good you took over.
Yes, and some were expelled from the clan for making others unhappy.
Still, I will concede your point on perhaps one or two counts. However, I stand by what I said. We had leaders that cared about the clan, or it would not have lasted so long with such a devoted core group.
We had our share of those that just passed through. Most weren't good enough to stay.
