Alright, lets hear them. I want to know what your tips are for training in Dion Hills.
PLAYERS are playing it too safe these days, killing non-aggro monster eyes non-stop. They take no risk. You can't pull orcs on them, cause it's too far from their aggro range, same with wolves.
I've successfully pulled other monster eyes on them, but this is very hard to get more than 2 or 3 at a time, and PLAYERS beat them anyway.
Last time I tried to guestimate a PLAYERS HP, I went red.
I've considered a character with bleed, but the only one I have is in his twenties, and yet again, eyes are so weak vs PLAYERS that they can't survive long enough for bleed to be effective. The PLAYER just sits down when he's done killing and meds.
I want drops gang it! I like living dangerously, and I want all PLAYERS to live dangerously as well. I find it a personal affront that some PLAYERS play so cautiously.

I liked taking my SE and giving Empower and Shield to all the eyes. Then I'll pull a few eyes over to the large rocks just outside the Dion north gate, root them there, and run out of aggro range. Now I just wait and hope that an Eye spawns on top of one of the rocks. It's funny seeing them get windstriked to death :D

yeah... takes a hell of alot of effort to do it though.
That sounds worth a try, but I'm pretty sure a single monster eye doesn't have enough firepower to kill a PLAYER on his own. I've seen eyes go OOM against PLAYERS while I've blown through an entire mana bar healing the eye with a bishop.
OT: Monsters can go OOM? Sorry to ask, but I have never seen or experienced it before. Newer was able to keep either myself, or monster that long alive.
I've personally had some pretty good luck with using my lvl 40 SE using a crit bleed dagger on them... Also helps a little if you give the mobs empower before they start attacking it. Just buff the mob, then whack on the target a bit till you get them to bleed, once they start poping pots is around the time you can start healing the mob and a lot of the time they end up dieing.

Indeed it does. Without an abundance of mobs, it's very hard to kill a dwarf in brig and a tarbar with lvl 20 mobs.
I went through a couple mana bars healing mobs before I got lucky. An eye spawned on top of the rock (unattackable by melee) and another eye spawned just below it. I saw the dwarf attack the eye at the base of the rock. So I empowered them both and watched as the dwarf stood at the base of the rock trying to attack the eye. It just stood there until it died. :D
Killed some PLAYERS tonight with the aid of a bounty hunter. Sadly, no drops. I would heal the main mob while the bounty hunter lined up extras on the PLAYER.
I'll try again tomorrow. It was liberating for a few minutes anyway.
What I know about training other players, is that NG Bsps saves you a bit of adena.
If you need to spam battle heal to keep the mob alive, its a waste of time unless you have a large number of mobs. Normal heals work best.
Social mobs are you friends, and its doesn't matter how far you have to drag them. Higher level mobs are frequently social with their lower level counter parts.
Befriend someone with fake death or an EE that has Serinade of Eva, both skills are quite effective at quickly dropping trains on other players.
I've done a few griefing of said PLAYERS. When you target an eye and you're close enough the said PLAYERS will go to another target. As soon as said players target another eye it begins to run to the new eye. Smack the eye you just targetted and run to the next eye but don't target it. Run past the other eye and as soon as you see the spoil target the new eye, buff, and heal. The one you brought along should start nuking said PLAYER who will go down soon. Yeah use NG Bsps and regular heal. The amount in crystals you get back more than pays for your supplies. Oh have a dorf on standby in case you get 1000 heal pots and can't pick it up.
I should rewrite the above to put eye1 and eye2 but I'm too lazy so you go figure it out.
pfffft, anything with fake death grabs the nearest train of higher level aggro mobs and dashes to the player with the train in queue fakes death just past him, and voila! one dead player and hopefully 2.5m drop.
edit one smooth trick to getting fake death to work well and often is to let the mobs crit on you and quickly turn it on, sounds silly, but it has worked for me.
I would just like to re-emphasise how effective at griefing lower levels a duo of an ES and Warlock is. The Aqua cubic zaps right through HP for a relatively long while (after which things get difficult), and the binding fires within four or five punches when the level gap between the warlock and the griefee are big enough. It's a match made in petting zoo heaven.
