What is the best place for a level 30 archer to level? I am not getting very good XP where I am any more. I need a new spot to XP-Camp. Any help would be appreciated :D

well first off, as a rogue/scout, you should be useing a dagger not a bow. nice to use to learn how it works, but not good on the pocket book.

any how: 30+, CT swamps is one of the best places, the drones and spiders. they are like high 30's mobs, pilgrams necro is one of my favoret places.

orc barracks is good to from what I hear.

Harpy's are lvl 31 (Gorgons Flower Garden) and Archery Weak...fire away.

Deep inside Partisan Hideaway you will find what you like too, Cruma Swamp is advicable too, but I don't like the foggy environment, can't see **** in there.

What could have possibly convinced you that he or she is in any way concerned with money? Lots of rogues use bows simply because lots of rogues can afford it. It's really not that much more expensive than a dagger; you do a little over 3x the damage for a little over 3x the SS cost. What's the problem?

A bow is a bit more difficult (in other words way too difficult cause of so called bad xp, kiting, whatever) then most people want to play...
Actually, I play an archer cause I like archers is all. :D
I also did a compilation of mobs that are weak against archery on my site

Archer mobs (http://jute.dreamhosters.com/lineageii/archer_mobs.htm)

I included mobs that resist physical attack and resist archery so you'd know what to stay away from as well.
I am also currently a level 30 Archer & using a dagger/bow,(both) & I'm currently leveling in EG & Cruma.. both give really good exp! :D

cause the waight of the SS and arrows sucks till you get to B grade and get a BoP.

Css weights 3 each, while arrows weigh 4 each. silver arrows(B/g) weigh 3 each, and Bss 3 each, which meens you can carry alot more at B/g and alot less at C/g, what that meens is a dagger keeps you out there lvling alot longer.(emi uses :10 SS per shot. BoP uses: 2 SS per shot---> same for A/g and S/g bows)

xp over time > XP in short burst.

And the masteries for bow don't really matter till your about 49. but you can keep lvling with dagger till 52, at that point you have to swich to bow.

I asure you, that I'm lvl a lot faster with my SE and a dagger then you soloing with your bow from 40-52.(taken that you to useing a SE)

I am a HE, and cerently am 48 almost 49 with a +5 DS/focus SA. When I hit 52, I'm stop lvling work on selling my o/e weapon make a few more, sell them for money and get +10 BoP.

I think it's funny (even if it's true) when people ask how to play an archer everyone says "Well first, get a dagger..."

I made an SR because I wanted to, you know, shoot arrows (my little elf never touched a dagger). Yeah, it can be expensive but you don't want to learn how to do that stuff when you hit 52.

I say, if you can afford it and aren't worried about the "perfect" way to play, grab a bow, head to cruma swamp and shoot stuff. Oh, and run a lot. It's a hell of a lot of fun! :D

i agree...
i haven't touched a dagger since it was my default weapon when i started. Archers are really fun to play cause it not just point > attack > target next > attack, there is actually skill and work involved in it. and i'm sure by 30 you are getting the hang of it, and realize that it will get expensive...here's a tip: if you have a pet, like a wolf or a cat/bufflo/bird, sick some extras arrows on them, that way you can hunt longer, and the baby pets heal so thay ain't bad to have around. good luck and welcome to the best solo class out there :)
