:confused: well this one is techniqually a repeat and is just a fun thing...not all events mean "yay drops im rich!" you have to realize that if they were the market would crash and besides your looking at it too negativly the event isnt actually that bad...unproductive perhaps but still sort of clever

I like the the idea of that Gold Rush event in the suggestions forum. But I doubt that will be implemented.

That event were Raid Bosses attacked the towns was great!
But I think people have lost faith in the event staff recently so it needs to be something good.

i not only agree with you with the gold rush thing hehe i liked that, but ...logically i would imagine the lack of creativity has something to do with there only being 75 NCNA staff left out of 300...

Uhm, no it wouldn't. If it can handle billions being dumped in by syncronized teams, it can certainly handle an event that only happens for a short while every couple of months.
Go to your favorite grind spot start killing mobs. Every now and then a quest item will drop so you relise you will have to hunt for hours upon hours to get enough items to make another item you can break and hope something worth anything comes out of it. After a few hours you get tired and soe to town then log for the night.
The next day yo log in to find Hjjsdrg and ukoygbfkrtg selling those event items for 5k each and the other item you have to exchange event items for for 500k. So you go out and grind some more to get more event items.
Then you here in shout that someone got something awesome from breaking open that even item. So you soe back to town turn in event items for that other event item to break open. You break it open and get something worth less than the shots you used to get them.
So you think to yourself hell I have some extra adena I was saving up for a new wep if I can get that awesome thing I heard about I can get it now. So you go around to Hjjsdrg and ukoygbfkrtg shops and buy up all the event items they have spending all your adena.
You get all the event items you can from event manager and start breaking them open getting more and more depressed as you get towards the last one. On the last one you break it open to see nothing at all came out of this one.
So in the end with a heavy heart and only the second day of the event you take all the junk you got from the event items and set up a sell shop. You relise you will make about 500k less than what you had when you started and feel a little bit better. But since you need to sell all this stuff you say buy to your friends and minimize the window and plan the rest of your week L2 free.

well obviosly an in game market can't completely crash however im sure you've noticed the inflation of prices? guess where thats coming from....
