Player Questions Started Last reply 4 posts
Hey everyone, My name is Trask and im very new to this game. Recently I quit wow after a few years playing and I picked up L2 here. I have a few questions the newbie guide was unable to answer and I was hoping to have them answered by fellow players.

1. I know you can use the wasd keys, but is there an option to use the arrow keys? clicking to move for me is very annoying and sometimes my player gets stuck!

2. I started an orc, everything was going fine until i got teleported to a human down and there was literally 500 people all sitting there blocking my way! It took me an hour to find the quest guy to get the return teleport, and another 20 mins after that to complete the quest because there were people all over the roads. It was so irritating. Is there a way to turn collision detection off? I mean, why would people block the road like that .

3. I chose an orc fighter but I decided to go swords and not hand to hand. I already got the first 2 skills of an unarmed attack. Is there anyway to redeem those back and place them in swords?

Thank you guys for the help! If i have any more questions I will come back!

No, there isn't. And using WASD is very cumbersome in this game. My advice to you is just force yourself to use click-to-move for awhile. Eventually you'll get used to it, and it is imo the best method of control in L2.

No, you cannot turn collision detection off. This is why click-to-move is better. It allows for a sort of pathfinding feature. And that town you were in was Giran. It is a shopping center. Other towns aren't that crowded.

No. Don't sweat it though. The SP you used are insignifcant even in your 20s.
Everything that Johis said.

Welcome to the game!!! :D
Yeah WASD very hard to use, u dont remember your first games like diablo for click n move?
