Duels to Polearm

ok i know you can trade C grade items for other Cgrade items of equal value, so my question is, cause i trade my +6 Raid*Spirit swords for an Orcish Polaxe? (2nd part of the question) if i can trade it, can i put an SA on the Polaxe, and then still trade it back to the +6 duels?

Duals can only be traded for Duals and you can't trade weapons with SAs (they don't even show in the trade window).
