I am new to this game, and made a dwarf. I enjoy playing, but it is a very lonely game, I hardly see anyone moving around. Is that because there aren't new players in dwarfland? I am level 16, I wonder if anyone can tell me what's the best way I can earn money so I can buy some armor and a weapon when I reach 20.
Hoping to make some online buddies in this game too.
Do you see dwarves with names like IIIiiiIIiiiooaosoiIII repeatedly attacking guards? If so, that should give you an idea of the usefulness of a dwarf :p
But seriously.. there a lot of farmers and bots.. Ebay=bad.. Get to the mainland (Gludin) where there are a few more people.. I hope you enjoy yourself :/
Thank you. Did I make a mistake by making a dwarf? And yes, I did see dwarfs with wierd names killing themselves, I wondered why, but read that they are "bots".
I made the dwarf because I read about the game, and looked at the forums and people said to make a dwarf to make money. Well I will try this game for the free month, so far lonely and few people answer when I say hi. :(. But I will try the mainland.
And thank you for answering me and being nice. Kinda curious about something, why would someone E-bay, if they already bought the game? :o
Ebay = trade real world currency to get in game currency :)
No mistake picking a dwarf, its just a very hard class to level compared to fighter classes. Theres not much but "automated players" in starter towns, until you get higher and move up to Gludin and Dion, you wont see many people.
People Ebay because they are lazy and don't take the time to make money in-game. It's not easy to make money just starting out now.
I don't know if there are manors in the starter towns (I don't think so) but once you get to Gludin, start seeding. There are guides around on how to do it, it's not hard. It is your best bet to making money to start with at first. You might want to consider a class that can do some damage however. Daggers, archers, mages are your best bet.

Zowie spending RL money for game money imo is just dumb. :eek: Rather spend my RL cash for fuel so I can go out with my friends.
