Exactly how do I level a soulcrystal ?

you have to attack the mob ( one that you can actually level soul crystals on like Doom Knights in Forbidden Gatway ) and once they are really low ( like one hit from death ) double click the soul crystal, it will look like you are taking hp from them, and then just finish them off. you'll get a message saying, unable to absorb soul, or earned soul, Earned Green soul Crystal lvl 3.

My work computer wont let me go to stratics, but in case its not their, know that you can only level crystals past 10 on certain Raid bosses.

Note that you can activate the soul crystal any time the mob is half or more dead and it will work just fine.

Also as some one pointed out, if your high enuff to kill doom knights ib FG, you can lvl all your SA's on them from lvl 1 to lvl 10...

So true! I made more money by selling level 10 soul crystals than any other quest endeavor. They still sell at 2m each on Kain. I think I sold over 20 before the mobs turned blue. I had one night where I was able to make 5 level 10 crystals! This game has such a quirky random number generator.
