But then after maintenance, the updater starts sucking up new code (Oh no, this doesn'T sound good...). And behold ! Usually they are the first ones back in, but now it was DESERTED !

So thanks a lot NC for removing all these [923] so now we don't have anything easy to Zerg...

I swear some day I'm going to rally every single person in eg/hc/ob/ac and every other pre lvl 40 hunting ground and just go zerg a siege!
go play WOW, more fun, better end game options, better leveling and not a grind game, more pets, faction Vs faction PVP. overall better game.
you don't lose XP & hard urnd gear, ets.

faction pvp ruins games. If I want to kill a orc/human/de/elf/dwarf all in the same day... I should be able to. Seriously faction pvp is just very very sad, and it is the first sign of a crappy game. The second sign is instances... the third is no death penalty.
If you find that it's that much more fun...go play it then. I did and found it boring at the end game. I have friends who love it, but it's an easy game.
i do play it, i even gona stop lineage2 for it ... i'm sick and tired of playing for a small reward then to see it all get lost to a kid "wit lots of time" that trains me and runs off wit my armor.

and end game lol World of Warcraft has a great end game and you don't need to play over a year to get there even, i love the WOW end game battlegrounds team PVP for the win.
and realy lineage2 end game sucks, you need to play 24/7 to get there in a 1/2 year or more and what can you do then ?! raids, hero thing to get that losy glow, sieges ?! pfff not to say a word about the ingame market LOL comon thats so screwed-up and even gets more srewed-up ever new "C" haha nah thanks i had it ... and that after what how long is it by now 1 & 1/2 years?! what ever.

you need to learn som more social skills dude a game is not only pvp, and yes lineage is hard core i know that but to much is to much.
a game like this (no good support, kido's at PVP, reds around the clock, hard core grind) die's in like 2-3 more chronicles.
its cool to kill who ever you want when ever you want but for the love of god try to look it at the side of the new guy, hard core pvp or not you still need to get your level and thats verry hard in this game "TO HARD" cus you can lose more in 2sec then you can get farming in 1 day.
(it takes a great man to kill a player, it takes even a Greater man to help a player)

ok i'm going to say this, i've played this game since open beta, i have been ganked at every level, and helped at every level. it is just a game, just cause you don't hit end game within a year doesn't mean that it isn't good. have fun with, explore, and go kill some reds somewhere, that'll cheer you up. and i wouldn't want to play a game taht i could finish in 6 months or less...that would be over too fast. ex: i bought tomb raider for xbox, and finished the game in 2 days...talk about disappointing...and that's = to 6 months for a MMORPG, in my opinion anyway. this is a hard core game, get some hard core friends online and then you'll enjoy this alot more.

yeah.ummm heh that was sarcasm. Im frequently told im in the wrong game for my play style. You know the kind of style where I run around alot checking out the scenery and pvp'ing people that really deserve to be stabbed in the face. This is why I will never see the end game or have the best gear. I spend to much time enjoying the game. :cool:
l2 is for pro gamers. i do not mean bots,dualboxers and other kinds of creepers. I mean players whoplay the game like it is supposed to be playd. It is harder than any other mmo, well exepct EVE. i dont like to watch a cartoon all day long,but anime,manga is nice.Grown up, you know :p
in all likelyhood, the PLAYERS that dissapeared had read about your event and knew they were in for it, got scared and left. i blame darkmotion for ruining darkmotions event!
Sometimes I get a bit depressed when I think what it would be like if EVERYONE played how it is meant to be played. But its good to know im a "pro gamer" :) Just have to wonder why people that couldnt play the game right coudnt have just bought a game shark and destroyed a single player consol game for themselves. I remember the first toon I got past level 20. I got called all kinds of nasty names by people because I was using NG gear. Apparently I was trying to make other players think I was lower level so I could get them to pvp and own them. Truth was I couldnt afford D grade. I miss the days when I started this game and was completetly unaware of cheaters in the game. :(

Anyone who complains about L2 being too hard has never played classic UO. When you died in that game you dropped 100% of your belongings, whether your death was from a player or a monster.

I played UO for a long time.
When you were pk'ed the red could take all your stuff... remember that? The only good thing was everything in that game was replacable. In L2 it could be a game ender if that happened!!
Really, how often does NCSoft actually update this game? And what was yesterday's big update? Text correction.
Usually there are no updates and PLAYERS rejoin the game as soon as the servers are back up. That would have provided us with an abundance of targets had it been a normal maitenance day.

Common sense does the math and takes the chance. Risk of update: low. I'd try to ++ a +15 weapon to +16 weapon before I'd wager that there would be an actual patch to the game.

well i blame the Devil for this event...
i have created an Orc on Kain, along with 4 others i met yesterday...i think there are going to be alot of people doing this. and i did get 150k from a friendly passer by yesterday.
