Hello All! Just a quick question on Macro Help here.
I am tryin to setup a Macro for my Human Mystic that will allow me to drop a spiritshot and than cast Wind Strike.
Now I know that I have to have the spiritshot as a shortcut on my bar but does the actual spell for Wind Strike also have to be present on my Shortcut Bar, or can I have a script that will automatically activate it from my spellbook?
Awesome - Thank You so Much! It was driving me crazy last night when i was tryin to set it up. It was the one reason I never used Macros in WoW, too complicated, but in L2 they give you less shortcut space and I am finding the added screen space much more refreshing.
You dont even wanna see what my screen looks like when I play my 60 Hunter, lol
Be carefull though as some spells can't be macro'd. Sleep will not work. It used to work if you placed it in a shortcut and then drag it to macro, but now that doesn't work for me anymore. Got my wolf killed learning that little tid bit.

Deathstryke, you know that you can automate shots by right clicking them on your hot bar?
take this one to heart
Recently I made some macros for PvP which would enable the shot and the use the skill. Why? Because I usually don't have the shots enabled since I have to use body to mind and that's is a waste of money.
I figured that if I can just switch the toolbars then the macros would just take care of everything.
thing is, they suck.
For some **** reason they aren't smooth as if you just right clicked on the shots in the toolbar and then kept firing. There seem to be little hiccups of time. It's very frustrating.
Also, remember.. don't drag the shortcut from the bar to the macro window. It must be from the skill window. Took me a really long time to realize that that was a problem. My macros didn't work for the longest time and I had given up on them until I just "accidentally" had the skill window open and dragged from there.
But you don't use body to mind in pvp - right? Unless you CDL :D
I agree with you. Macros are so clumsy. I use my pvp macros for pve too, because I'm so absent minded, I wouldn't remember to switch to my pvp bar. My problem here, is if I use my stun macro in pve - I don't automatically continue bashing the mob. I have to press attack right after. It's an annoyance.

I have a sleep macro that works just fine
