Well... i just go the game since all my other friends were playing it and i wanted to know what the whole big deal is about this game. after playing it for like 3hours i really got into it.
but the things is i need a little help on like leveling and stuff.
i am a dark mystic lvl 15 going for spellhowler :) on Sieghardt
i need to know where all the good places are to lvl from 1-70~
also have another question that i can't seem to find out by myself is how to zoom out further? like i can zoom out but i can only zoom out so far unlike my friend he can zoom out like into the sky
Your friend has a zoom ****, its an illegal program and punishable by the EULA.

1-20 - Stay at your home area and maybe around Gludin and Gludio.
20-40 - lvl 20 kill the eyes around Dion they are 2x hp and weak to wind, your your SH should be able to 2-shot them with Windstrike if you have a decent weapon . At lvl 25-28 head to heretics catacomb and dont leave untill you get till lvl 40.
40 go to Hardins acadamy and and get the quest for the Nebulite orbs under Ivory Tower.
Head to Ivory tower at lvl 40 and kill all the mobs under it that are not resistant to magic and that give you quest items.
lvl 46 head on over to Dragon Vally and kill the mobs in the begginging of it, the Gargoyels and stuff that are past the Strains. Stay their till around lvl 52.
52 start looking for a clan that you can enjoy hunting with.
52-60 go hunt in the cemetary or in the catacomb near Oren castle town ( forgot the name of it ) and just plvl yourself into oblivion.
60+ you can try the loewr lvls of BS, but it might still be to high for you, if so try again at 62.
Erm.. You aren't allowed to modify your zoom range, which is what you friend did.
For leveling, at first just keep moving further away from the starter village for harder mobs, as you progress. I suppose the swampland would be good for you at level 15?
i dont know about sh's but i can tell you that at your level the bats around black rock hill might be a good choice, as they are weak to wind attacks. festering bats i believe are the lower level ones - you might want to try on them first. as far as zooming out into the sky goes: if your friend is able to do this he is either A: playing in very very shrunken windowed mode, or B: using a 3rd party program. Option A will cause eye strain and possibly result in the need for glasses in the near future, option B can get you banned. Personally, id go with option C: none of the above :)
Mostly good advice in here. You just need to figure out that most of that advice means that you are already a seasoned player and know some parts of the game. Feel free to ask for elaborate answers on certain parts that you did not understand. I feel as if everyone just brushed your question instead of digging it.
Most advice in this topic is pretty solid.
Apart from advice on levelling 20-40, which is just terrible.
The eyes near Dion are 2x hp. As a nuker you want to avoid mobs with more then 1x hp at all costs. They are horribly mana inefficient and unhealthy. Even the wind weakness does not make it worthy.
Also catacombs are a horrible place (huge money sink and poor xp) for a nuker. If you really insist to play full party already at this stage, you might visit them a few times. But even then it's much better to try to find (or organise) Raid groups (which hunt Raid Bosses). Dark Wizards are very sought after in such groups.
Good places to level include: Abandoned Camp (take the mission from Leopold in Gludin; lvl 20+); aoe at Maille Lizardman Barracks (you will probably need either a decent weapon or Empower buff, but I think Shillien's Knife worked for me there; just beware spider groups if you don't have empower (with empower you can aoe spiders too); lvl25+); Cruma Swamps (start at the outer ring and work you way deeper as you progress in levels; take mission from Sophia in Dion if you completed Leopold's mission; lvl 26+ but I would advise to stay with the lizardmen until they turn blue, if aoe works for you there);
Gorgons Garden or whatever it's called - northeast of Giran (lvl 32+); road from Giran to Oren -Death Pass I think it's called (lvl 36+).
I'm very sorry, but never advise a nuker to hunt multiple hp mobs (unless maybe in party). You pick mobs that you can one-two hit before they can reach you. Otherwise mobs will hurt you, will interrupt your spells and you will waste a lot of mana on sleeps to regain distance.
It's a very different playstyle, compared with a BD.
The Golums just south of Dion are a good mob to go after. With twister and windstrike you can 2 hit them. At lvl 20 they are bright red and give you good xp. ( I have a lvl 27 DW.) Find a good party for Raid bosses.

Aren't Golems magic resist?
Yes they are. Most Golems are not worth trying to kill as a caster. These might be different, I haven't tried, but most of them take way more hits than similar level mobs that aren't magic resistant.
30- 35 Cruma Marsh Land, hunting Marsh Spiders and Stakato Drones, or Death Pass hunting Grandis, Windus and Fettered Souls
35 -40 Alligator Beach near Heine was good for me, hunting the Alligators and Fahrite Lads.
40 - 44 I was in Forrest of Evil Spirits ( I think thats what that area is called, correct me if im wrong) near Ivory Tower hunting Bug Bear Warriors and Falnors. They also drop cursed bones which is good. :D
45-48 Forrest of Outlaws was good for me killing the Gargoyles and Basilisks, 2 shots and usuing shadow spark and shadow flare over hit when I could for max exp.
48-53 I did AOE in sky shadow meadow, below Oren, hunting the group mobs, cannobi's and sanhidro's, if forget what the other ones are called now. It took awhile to get it right, so I died a few times, but when I did get it right I lvled fast. I wore demon and then avadon set and used a homukulu's sword with acumen, if u can borrow an over enchanted one even better. I used haste potons and magic haste potion from the shop also.
My method is to be at max distance from the mobs, fire tempest and as soon as u have fired, be running away from them, then as soon as the skill has regened fire again, use aura burn to finish any off, or sleep and then use hurricane if u have to. Have some heal potions handy coz sometimes they just dont want to die. But if u can do it solo, hello 11k exp, for 2 hits. If u can find some one to duo with it is safer and faster.
At 52 I went to the cemetary and used curse death link and one shotted soilders of grief and timak orcs, I was lucky enough to have an SE friend to party with and have empower for those ones, I also died alot there too, but again getting it right and exp flows in with one shotting. Usuing curse death link is very dangerous, but its fun playing as it keeps you on your toes
56-60 I went to Forsaken Plains and hunted the Gargolyes and also Fallen Orc Archers and Shamens, if you get the ones that turn into tigers, hit them with shadow flare last to get max exp.
60 till now lol Im at Valley of Saints killing in the first area with the easier mobs, this is going good for me at the moment so I would recommend it, I have walk on and Im usuing death spike at the moment to save MP but the cursed bones are expensive.
There is quests for all of these places, but I cannot rememeber all of them at this time sorry.
This is as far as I have leveled my SH so far, Im sure its not the best or the fastest way to go, but it worked good for me. I hope you have fun playing, good luck on getting those levels. :D

well i am now lvl 21 and thinking about going to south of dion to kill thoses golems :) thanks for the advise.

Golems are Magic Resistant, not your best shot imo.
well i went to those golems are they are RED to me when i am lvl 22 and they arn't magic resistant but it takes me like 10 shots with twister with bss on
so i am not going to train there :)
