Make NCSOft SEE what NEEDS to be changed or altered and fast !!!
i know some of you may love the way it is now but thats cus you have an high level already. please see this tru the eyes of a lower level ex: lv35-55.
some of my negatives are here in game sins the begining why did NCSoft not fixed that? cus NCSoft DONT'T care about us OR ... , so lets all go on strike and suspend ur account and demand that NCSoft fix things (*/*).
anyway here are my POS and NEGAs
Positive:
- mass pvp system, pvp all the time (normal use).
- sieges (normal use).
- making new friends.
- Nice landscape.
Negative:
- Dropping gear upon dead.
- People monster training you for gear.
- losy pets.
- adena driven world (way to much srewed up econ).
- grind game (way to much grinding to level up +1).
- enchanting (when it breaks) comon not even 1/10 of your adena back, % succsess rate way to low.
- FULL of exploiter (Bots, ebayers, farmers, others).
- no or low ingame support.
- low gear & weapon drops from monsters.
- raid rewards (low or even none).
- lags spikes in town cus of the afk shops.
- siege a bit buged (none signedup peoples can safely kill others on the siege area, why?).
- Proffesion Quests a BIG JOKE and WAY TO LONG.
- low quest to do.
- NO side proffesions.
- Fishing is ??? why do we fish anyways.
- ingame (GAMES) that nobody plays (Monstertrack race, dice, lottery).
- Manor system that is sieged by farmers and bots (a normal player need to be FAST to give in there fruits :/).
- red players stalking new and lowbie players (i know its free pvp but this is crap no sport in killing lowbies).
- siege viewports we need more (what are we if the fights are on the side, we can't see that :/).
lol, wow this many negas :) why do i keep playing OO, ohwell maybe in C5 will it be fixed (Dreaming) .... kuch, Kuch where em I ohyeah reality :/.
so feel free to add some Pos and OR negas to the list make NCSoft realy see that there GAME is not like it needs to be !!!
PS: the flame'rs look away i know this thread is thempty to reply on just don't. my vission is not allways someone els its vission.
Positives:
-Completely open PvP.
-Castles (not particularly sieges, we dont get enough of those to know).
-Manor.
-Dropping Items on death.
-Being able to do whatever I like. Wanna scam? Do it. Wanna play a nice guy? Do it.
-Low gear drops from mobs.
-Proffession Quests.
Sorry mate, but you are wrong in most of your negative arguments.
Fishing for example is much more usefull as in WoW and L2 IS a grinding game for people which love grinding. L2 IS a hardocre game, for people which love hardcore games.
There is only ONE point you spoke about, most here will agree ... but to talk about that is not allowed at official boards :)
I am sorry that you list so many negative points, which are not negative .. they are the positives of L2. I hate games where i cannot grief or grind ... like WoW.

The points above are things that should not be changed. Changing them would only make the game a lot easier, which is something we don't want. If you want an easy game, go do something else. The rest of your points are valid though.

Sorry, but I can tell you, why they did not "fix" most of your negatives... Beacuse only YOU (and maybe a few others see them as negatives. Lots of those negatives are absolutely working as intended.
Neither YOU or ME decide, what NEEDs to be changed. We only can suggest, what we THINK SHOULD be changed, to make the game a better game.
Asking other players to suspend their accounts can get you banned.
Your negatives, which I do not agree on:
- Dropping gear upon dead. / No risk, no fun.
- People monster training you for gear. / Learn to avoid that or learn to live with it or learn to use it to your advantage, or admit, that you are the weaker.
- grind game (way to much grinding to level up +1). / All Asian MMOGs are grinders, that is where the term "asia grinder" comes from. You should have known from the start, and I personally am happy, that in this game, I cannot have 6 different chars on max level within a month or two.
- enchanting (when it breaks) comon not even 1/10 of your adena back, % succsess rate way to low. / If you cannot afford it, do not overenchant. Enchanting to +3 is without risk. The chance of success is 2/3, which is pretty high.
- no or low ingame support. / Never had any problem, that was not dealt with within a few hours.
- NO side proffesions. / How is that broken ? There are numerous games, that do not offer side professions. Check out the subclass system though.
- Fishing is ??? why do we fish anyways. / I fish to earn money and to relax and to get the added skills (greater WH, greater inventory).
I think you’ll find that some of the negatives you suggest won’t “jive” with some people and some of the positives won’t jive.
Different people like and want different things.
I personally don’t like things like dropping items or “completely open pvp”. But I am here. I just accept the things I don’t like. Otherwise my thought is that I should get out and go to another game.
And, if you can put yourself in the right mindset, it is sometimes possible to appreciate what you feel are the “negative” aspects of the game.
One of the positive things about this game is that it is sometimes hard to predict what is going to happen. You can plan a raid and go do it but it doesn’t mean that it is going to happen.
This is definitely one of the more interesting games out there. Also one of the most frustrating to some.

I am a lower level between these levels. Here are my comments on your list.
Negative:
- Dropping gear upon dead. - Never played UO did you? When you died EVERYTHING was left on your body, and you only had a few minutes to get back to it before you turned to bones. Then ANYONE could loot ALL your items. Be thankfull that item drops in a PvP game of this size are what they are.
- People monster training you for gear. - Part of the open PvP system
- losy pets. - dont use them then
- adena driven world (way to much srewed up econ). - a pain to some, a blessing to others.
- grind game (way to much grinding to level up +1). - an actual selling point of the game. You missed the reasoning behind this one completlly.
- enchanting (when it breaks) comon not even 1/10 of your adena back, % succsess rate way to low. - OE is NOT a necessity of the game. Its a chance you take to make yourself more powerfull then the standerd needed to progress. Since you dont have to do it, DONT if you dont like the results.
- FULL of exploiter (Bots, ebayers, farmers, others). - Ive already started to group this as " part of the game ". Its fustrating I admit, either deal with it or move on.
- no or low ingame support. - Have yet to have a reason to contact support. No Comment.
- low gear & weapon drops from monsters. - the rarity of the loot is what makes finding it much more rewarding when you do.
- raid rewards (low or even none). - I wont comment on the rewards as i have only done a few mid lvl raids so far. However, I do think they need to twink XP rewards and make a " raid party " function. Being a healer at one of those things stinks.
- lags spikes in town cus of the afk shops. - Alt + P is your friend.
- siege a bit buged (none signedup peoples can safely kill others on the siege area, why?). - no comment.
- Proffesion Quests a BIG JOKE and WAY TO LONG. - a Big joke? Why? To long? Why? Cite some examples please.
- low quest to do. - Yet the profession change EPIC quests are to much for you . . .
- NO side proffesions. - Im unsure about this one . . .
- Fishing is ??? why do we fish anyways. - I enjoy fishing myself actually. What do you mean why do we fish? To have fun is why I do it. I dont know why else YOU yourself would want to.
- ingame (GAMES) that nobody plays (Monstertrack race, dice, lottery). - The people who the game was made for seem to like it. Once again its an option you can do that IS NOT INTEGRAL TO PLAYING THE GAME. Dont like it? Dont do it!
- Manor system that is sieged by farmers and bots (a normal player need to be FAST to give in there fruits :/). - Little comment. My lower levels did some manoring and I was able to turn in my fruits on most days, but I havnt done any higher level seeding yet.
- red players stalking new and lowbie players (i know its free pvp but this is crap no sport in killing lowbies). - I went from 1 to 20 and saw 1 red, and he left me alone . .

If you're crying now about the problems of this game, then maybe you sould be playing something else...um.. lets say..hmm... WOW?
The world is huge, the economy is complex, the quests are fun, the profession change quests are great, the backstory is very interesting.
GMs are making lots of different types of events. While it is normal that some players like some types more than others, if every event was the same it wouldn't be much fun, now would it?
Server stability is much better, some bots are gone, sieges rock, and the mob AI in the new areas is dandy.
Best of all: The feeling of accomplishment when a goal is honestly fulfilled. Whether it is new gear, new profession, new level, or making a new friend...we each have our own goals. The sad thing is that those who cheat will never, ever really understand this because all that they have and do is tainted.
Negatives:
The tendency of some players to complain that it is too hard. IMHO, go play checkers.
The tendency of some players to want this game to be like other games. Isn't it good to be different? Where does the idea come from that imitating other (carebare) games is a good thing?
The tendencey of some players to think that this game, as developed in Korea, should be 'adapted' to the NA market. That 'adaptation' oftem implies making it easier, softer, fluffier and more like all the other forgetable games.
Ebayers, cheaters, account buyers/sellers....disgusting. Hmmm, I see that my 'bad' list all deals with players, not the game, players who want to make things easy for themselves.

To me, a lot of your negtives are positives.
It's not a matter of level - you are playing the wrong game.
You need to figure that out quick, before you aggravate and frustrate yourself any further.

I found many aspects of a certain other MMOG to be pointless and unrewarding. Instead of an illiterate rant of threats and ultimatums, I quit and signed up for a game that fits my playstyle.

Next time you find yourself surrounded by a bunch of level 75 nukers you can shout "but I'm not low level!" until you're blue in the face. Good luck with that.

If they are bot nukers, sure stay around them and grab the drops.. but real player nukers..hmm... thats a different story!

Okay... (I'm trying very hard to follow along) how does that have anything to do with this thread? You claimed I only posted here to brag. How does my posting a picture in another thread having ANYTHING to do with this thread?
Positives: This game is designed to be epic, it's core design is great, as are the graphics. The difficulty drives the pansies away.
Negatives: The unchecked cheating reigns out of control to the point that I find myself wondering if that is how it's meant to be played. Based on cheating, L2 is becoming the Counterstrike of MMO's, a laughing stock.
