So my buddy and I decided to have a drink the other night. Some how we decided it wouold be a fantastic idea to OE our weapons. Short story even shorter I know am the proud owner of a 55 Abyss Walker with a shillen knife. I've got about 5 mill to my name so not much to fall back on. I'm not sure I see any way out other than to delevel and start to build back up my bank account.

I'd suggest creating a Scavenger/BH yourself. The material market is through the roof right now no matter what server you're on, so you may find yourself with enough cash before even hitting 40. The money comes a lot faster when you're soloing. Playing the market is always a good idea, but you'll probably want at least 10 mil seed money before you even try.
The real lesson here is don't drink and play L2. But good luck in any case.

3. I was wondering about the mat prices. I've noticed a big jump too. My thought was a big ban of farmer accounts by NC. On Siege I saw a major decrese in Giran for about a week. Sigh... didn't last long though.
4. My Scavy is now lvl 22! Not using SS sux though.
I never used SS on my scav either, takes forever to kill but at least you get a lot of money out of it. Animal Bone is really high on my server, and when you're higher level you might be able to find a place that spoils CBP.
My guess is the high mat prices are due to the extremely high mat requirements of A and S grade along with the natural inflation built into L2's economy. If anything you can probably expect material prices to keep rising unless the drop tables are altered or the life orbs of C5 have a great effect on the A market.
a BH in wastelands at fairly low levels (27-29) can kill lesser basilisks. There is a quest right at southern entry point with one of those npcs too.
Spoil 3 and lesser basilisk yields quite a few animal bones.
You can get a BH to 28 pretty fast.
Without the recipes from owning a clan hall fishing isn't too profitable. It's still quite nice if you want to expand your inventory or sell slots however, but it's not even required when farmers sell fishing proofs by the barrel.

You won't catch aggro cause your not hitting, just seeding and you dont need to fight. Once you have large loads of fruit, turn em in and sell the mats. No need to de-level.
