At C5 will merging clans be seemless?

Out of curiosity, when the merging begins in C5. What will happen when alot of these people that have spent time and money on makin great websites and paying for vent, TS and other communication tools. What will prevail?

The clans that are lvl 4 and lower who have none of these things, will they concede to the level 5 and higher clans that have put alittle more effort into creating an alliance that has good communication, or will they whine endlessly and grief everyone that wants to make this an amazing game. Personally I feel in Bartz server, everyone is more interested in ganking and griefing anyone who has built strong community. Dawn, Uprising, Reborn and many others that have put in the effort to make a community, continually get greifed by really poor players who do not wish to improve but instead join with others that have only one intention. To destroy good alliances, there mode of operation is simple, they take out all the lowbies and run away. They then wait for those lowbies to cry in alliance chat to bring in a rescue team. Well the rescue team is usually ill prepared and in the middle of gating werever there going and the griefers pounce. Its classic, the worst thing is that even though your higher levels got the cash to gate around all over the **** map its very irritating to respond to lowbies who dont understand that until your in your mid 50s or higher. That there basically targets for everyone that hates any clan or alliance that is organized enough to have good community.

I have many enemies of players that ive had to boot cause they have foul mouthes in vent. or they grief people incessantly. Ive booted alota bots that snuck in from friends of these basically evil little ********. Well the sides are forming my friends, when C5 rolls out, find community and find good people and no matter what. Dont let getting greifed get you down. Dont quit a clan cause they dont respond to every PK call, And whatever you do, dont sell out you clannies or alliance. Because you will get a reputation and eventually everyone finds out who you are. Your personality follows your characters, learn from good players and youll have more fun.

Sorry for such a long post but no one seems to reflect these thoughts on any thread. C5 is a turning point, dont let pride cloud the fact that sides are taken, people are assembling, the Wars are only just begining. Chose now, or be left in the dust of indecision.
Well, this sounds like something that the various clans have to discuss ahead of time.

I know that in our alliance, on Lionna, we're already preparing for the C5 structure. We've shifted people around in preparation for the merging, and we're paring down the active clan listing.

Say what you want abotu the Boy Scouts, but they had the right idea.

"Be Prepared"

Are you?

(Incidentally, this seemed more like a post whining about the rampant griefing found on your server, pre-empted by an actual question. Apples and oranges.)
good point jkoster, i guess i did get alittle carried away there. Didnt intend to sound um whiny, but when you get level 3 clans declaring on all the major alliances just so they can grief you endlessy, it gets pretty annoying. Is there cure? Yeah, Dont let level 3 clans declare on clans that are a higher level.
Sorry but i have one more thing to add, yes in fact we have been preparing. Very intensly now actually. One thing Im hoping is that they post alittle more detail regarding the wait time for absorbing a clan into the new clan levels, I.E Once a clan reaches 6, are you able to absorb a clan without a wait time. Thus eliminating pooching from other clans?
Well, we should be having the test server soon. I would suggest people get clans made ASAP.

In fact, they should set a few server-based clans up in server-based alliances beforehand, that way people can jump in and test the theory.

I agree with you, this is something that needs to be 100% painless.

However, I can say this. If your clan leaders do their jobs, the risk of losing members to poachers is minimal. Loyalty should extend beyond a clan tag or channel.
In the end its going to count alot that higher level clans will have tremendous benefits in game that others will have no way of getting. So playing the smaller loyal clan is now going to be very limiting.

I think its a very "day late and a dollar short" solution, I would have loved this had it been part of C3, now its just more of an annoyance and its going to create alot of downwards griefing since bigger clans gets points for griefing smaller clans.

And I think the big clans positive effect is sometimes a bit overrated and is certainly negated alot by the negative behavior of many top alliances.
Just the way things go. Deal with it do what ya can. Merging clans? I didn't know there was such a thing nor read anything. I just figure clans will have to disolve to absorb together.
This is something that will work well in korea where their is 10 times more players in each server.

This will fail in NA for a couple reasons. I think it is safe to say on all servers in NA there is a lot of pvp and we take it serious at the high lvls of the game. What this is going to do is almost force clans to take in lvl 50's just to get stuff done. Now this will make their clan weaker as far as straight up pvp goes. Clans in NA do not want this.

In NA I dont think the high lvl clans have any knowledgement or contact with clans that are lower lvl. In C5 it will be like, all you people hunting in the lvl 80 places, go to EG and make some new friend and add them to your clan.

There isnt enough people on the server for this to work like they hope. Arent some of the clan skills you get rewarded by having people in your clan that are just completing their 2nd class change?

NA chronicles really need to be a complete 180 degree change from Korean chronicle. I really wish we had half the fan base in each server here and they do. Maybe we will see some of the stuff in the game work like it is ment to.
It will be more like "Go to low level areas and grief smaller clans for reputation points".
i think we will either have 2 alliances per server or clans will be made up of the usual 70+ ppl and all their dwarf alts

It will be more like "Go to low level areas and grief smaller clans for reputation points".

now the question is; do clans below lvl5 have reputation points you can 'steal'?
Well, those smaller clans would have to war you back first. You only get reputation points if you kill a 2-way war enemy.

Dawn, Uprising, Reborn and many others that have put in the effort to make a community, continually get greifed by really poor players who do not wish to improve but instead join with others that have only one intention.

UR/Reborn hacked websites and broke into their enemies vent. +++Respect.

You sure? As far as I read it, you got reputation points from your opponent regardless.

Zerberous: Not sure, seems like its only level 5 and up. But there are still several smaller clans that are level 5 at the moment.
6. Clan Reputation(or Fame)

A. Starting from Clan Lv 5 clan can build up their reputation.
B. Based on your clan reputation you can check your Clan ranking.
C. Clan reputation will go up by doing the following
- New member finishes 2nd job quest while in the academy
- If you have captured a castle during a siege. ( Final )
- Capturing Clan hall(new)
(If you capture a clan hall that's already occupied by the other clan more rep is gained)
- Member of your clan gets first place in Seven signs
(points are based on how many of your clan members are in the first place party)
- If a HERO is born from your clan (Rep points depends on the number of the HEROs)
- Can gain points from doing the clan quests.
- When in war (both clan accpeted war state) or during a Siege
you can gain Rep(fame) points by killing your enemy.
(Unless the opposing clan has less then 0 Rep(fame) points)

D. Losing Reputation (Fame)
- If your clan loses a castle or clan hall
(you will lose points even if your reputation is in (-) )

- Lving your Clan Level
- Learning clan skills
- When obtaining a item with Clan's Reputation points

- When in war (both clan accpeted war state) or during a Siege
you can lose Rep(fame) points when defeated in battle.
(Unless your clan has less then 0 Rep(fame) points)

agree
Ah thanks. Then at least its not going to be a total griefer paradise.
It looks to me like you'll have to have people drop their old tags, wait 5 days, and then join the clan you want to recruit them to.

Lower level clans will quickly run out of reputation points, so they probably won't be targets for griefing.

I really doubt top clans will recruit lvl 50s. Most clans will add higher level players or will use alts to fill slots if they need to.
