Best place for a 61 SK to solo?

I turned 61 a few weeks ago, and finding groups at this point seems unlikely to me as an SK. Where is a good place for me to solo, or dual box with an SE?

Preferrably a place where mobs do not AoE or stun, as that tends to get my SE killed. :(
Welcome to the world of higher level mobs. Pretty much everything stuns or AOE's. What level is your SE? Are you leveling the SE with you, or do you plan to set the SE down in a safe spot nearby and level your SK only?

Also, what is your equipment?
Sad truth. Mobs at higher levels are nasty. Best way to beat on stunning mobs as a melee is to kill them ASAP.

Hex and focus sword are your best friends.
you should get your se some more lvls or better gear
i cant say what a good spot is at 60+ since i went 58-69 at abg but fod is prolly the best melee area in game at the mid 60's
My SE is only 40 at the moment. I wanted her to get xp too, so I generally have to bring the mobs to her, and if theres an AOE, or I have to heal while I'm stunned, she dies pretty quickly. I think I might as well lvl her to 52 before dual boxing seriously.

My SK is in BW with a clean Dragonslayer.

hmmm .... what interesting tank armor and weap............. ne-whey trade that DS for a Shield + 1 handed sword caus you don't have fun stuff like GS, 4 shield masteries, and SF for nothin. =) well, SF at 64 =) Then go to the area behind devestated castle and find a nice place to plop your SE =)
At 40 your SE is probably more of a liability, since a couple of hits or an AOE from mobs your level will kill her in no time at all. I am not sure what weapon your SE has, but here is where a Ghoul with Bodily Blessing comes in handy. The extra HP will keep her on her feet. And you, too, as well.

The safest places that come to mind are Forsaken Plains and Bandits Stronghold.

Forsaken Plains
Orc archers, orc shamans, orc shaman mimics, gargoyles (exact name I can't recall), orc captains, and tigers (also exact name I can't recall). None of these mobs AOE for damage. The orc captains, the gargoyles, and the tigers are all aggro. The orcs are all social. The tigers are social. The tigers stun, but with swift attack pots you should be able to drop them before they drop you. The orc shamans have a special that returns damage to you, but again, you should be able to drop them and heal without too much fuss. The orc shaman mimics will turn into tigers after you hex or hit them. The tigers have the same stun skill as the other tigers, but the shaman tigers give much more XP. They are not social to other orcs, but they are social to other tigers. If you are not sure which is a real orc shaman and which is the morph, watch for the gestures. The REAL orc shamans will raise their canes in an "advance" or charge-type social move. Killing the orc shaman tigers is about 12K xp if I remember correctly. There are treasure chest mimics in the area, and I've had EAB, Avadon Circlet Patterns, Zubei Shield Parts and other drops from killing those.

Bandits Stronghold
In my opinion the best place to powerlevel your alt. Between the Forest of Outlaws and the Border Post there is an area densely occupied by Oel Mahum Shamans, Oel Mahums, Oel Mahum Warriors, Ol Mahum Transcendants and of course, gargoyles. The Oel Mahums are the only aggro. All of the Oel Mahums types are social, but the Ol Mahum Transcendants are not social to the Oel Mahum types. (My spelling might be wrong here, but you'll see what I mean.) The Gargoyles stun you, but you should be able to kill them quickly as they are either blue or green to you. The Oel Mahum Shamans are multi HP mobs that have windstrike, heals and close range Aura Burn-type attacks. The trick is to always keep your attacks up close and personal with the Shamans. That's true of all mages really. Once you get within close enough range, they will only Aura Burn you, which does hardly little damage as you recoup with VR and cubics. And it doesn't matter if you are attacking them, you just need to be in close range to trigger the Aura Burn. If I see 3 Shamans in a close enough cluster, I'll usually attack them all, knowing that all 3 of them will resort to an Aura Burn only and an occasional heal. I occasionally used a Corpse Plague in that situation, but be careful that there aren't too many other Mahum types within the vicinity or you'll find yourself UD'ing. Do not have your SE buff or heal you while you are attacking a Shaman. Healers get top priority and they will unload a windstrike on your SE even if you are hitting them in close range. Also like other mages, Shamans do get mage crits, but not any more frequently than other mages. Your LS will occasionally land on a Shaman, but only worth trying in a pinch. You really only need Hex, your cubics and melee attack. Yes, even your Viper Cubic will get a chance to shine here. A Focus or Haste weapon also helps tremendously. Shamans give the most XP at around 9K, which means that even your SE can level as you are leveling. Finally the Ol Mahum Transcendants occasionally transform into higher level Transcendants which are just as easy to kill, but worth more XP. The highest level Transcendant that I've killed yielded 20K XP with an overhit. So even though the Transcendants may be blue to you, attack them anyway with hopes of a transformation. The higher level Transcends are definitely worth it. Drops in this area range from base mats, including animal bones, to top C jewel mats (Nassen's & Binding), Silver coins, Silver Arrow Recipes, Zubei Shield recipes, Kris Recipes, to complete SLS drops (2 of them).

I also heard that one of the Necros was a good place for powerleveling an alt, but I don't spend much time below ground. Sorry I couldn't be of more help in that regard.

And also apologies to all of my English professors, but today is Grammar Free Tuesday.
